In that day, a fountain will be opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Yerushalayim for sin and for impurity.

And it will be in that day, declares יהוה of hosts, I will cut off the names of the idols from the land, and they will no longer be remembered. And also the prophets and the spirit of uncleanness I will cause to pass from the land.

And it will be, if a man prophesies again, his father and his mother who bore him will say to him, 'You will not live, for you spoke lies in the name of יהוה.' And his father and his mother who bore him will pierce him when he prophesies.

And it will be in that day, the prophets will be ashamed, each from his vision, when he prophesies. And they will not wear a hairy garment to deceive.

And he will say, 'I am not a prophet; I am a farmer of the ground, for man acquired me from my youth.'

And one will say to him, 'What are these wounds between your hands?' And he will say, 'The ones with which I was struck in the house of my lovers.'

Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man who is my companion, declares יהוה of hosts. Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered. And I will turn my hand against the young ones.

And it will be in all the land, declares יהוה, two-thirds in it will be cut off, they will perish, and one-third will remain in it.

And I will bring the third part through fire, and I will refine them as one refines silver, and I will test them as one tests gold. They will call on my name, and I will answer them. I will say, 'They are my people,' and they will say, 'יהוה is my Elohim.'
