A psalm, a song for the day of the Sabbath.

It is good to give thanks to יהוה and to sing praises to Your Name, Most High.

To declare in the morning Your steadfast love and Your faithfulness in the nights.

Upon a ten-stringed instrument and upon the lyre, upon the melody with the harp.

For You have made me rejoice, יהוה, by Your work; I will sing because of the deeds of Your hands.

How great are Your works, יהוה; Your thoughts are very deep.

The senseless man does not know, and the fool does not understand this.

When the wicked sprout like grass and all who practice injustice flourish, it is that they may be destroyed forever.

But You are Most High forever, יהוה.

For behold, Your enemies, יהוה, for behold, Your enemies will perish; all who practice injustice will be scattered.

And my horn You have exalted like that of a wild ox; I am anointed with fresh oil.

And my eye looks upon my enemies; my ears hear of the evildoers who rise against me.

The righteous will flourish like a palm tree; he will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

Planted in the house of יהוה, they will flourish in the courtyards of our Elohim.

They will still yield fruit in old age; they will be full of sap and green.

To declare that יהוה is upright; He is my rock, and there is no injustice in Him.
