A prayer of David. Hear, יהוה, my plea, for I am afflicted and needy.

Guard my life, for I am devoted. Save your servant, my Elohim, who trusts in you.

Have mercy on me, Adonai, for I call to you all day.

Make your servant joyful, for to you, Adonai, I lift up my soul.

For you, Adonai, are good and forgiving, abundant in loyal love to all who call on you.

Listen, יהוה, to my prayer, and pay attention to the sound of my pleas.

In my day of trouble I will call to you, for you will answer me.

There is none like you among the elohim, Adonai, and there are no deeds like your deeds.

All nations you made will come and bow before you, Adonai, and will honor your name.

For you are great and you do wonders; you are Elohim, alone.

Teach me your way, יהוה; I will walk in your truth. Unite my heart to fear your name.

I will thank you, Adonai my Elohim, with all my heart, and I will honor your name forever.

For your loyal love is great toward me, and you have rescued my soul from the lowest Sheol.

Elohim, arrogant ones have risen against me, and a gathering of violent ones seek my life, and they have not set you before them.

But you, Adonai, are an el of compassion and gracious, slow to anger and abundant in loyal love and truth.

Turn to me and have mercy on me; give your strength to your servant, and save the son of your female servant.

Do with me a sign for good, and my enemies will see and be ashamed, for you, יהוה, have helped me and comforted me.
