For the music leader, a psalm of the sons of Qorah.

You favored, יהוה, your land; you restored the captivity of Ya'aqov.

You bore the iniquity of your people; you covered all their sins. Selah.

You gathered all your wrath; you turned back from the heat of your anger.

Turn us back, Elohim of our salvation, and make your anger cease with us.

Will you be angry with us forever? Will you prolong your anger to generation and generation?

Will you not again revive us, and your people rejoice in you?

Show us, יהוה, your steadfast love, and grant us your salvation.

I will hear what El יהוה will speak, for he will speak peace to his people and to his faithful ones, and let them not turn back to folly.

Surely his salvation is near to those who fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.

Steadfast love and faithfulness met; righteousness and peace kissed.

Faithfulness springs from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven.

Also, יהוה will give what is good, and our land will give its produce.

Righteousness will go before him, and will set his steps on the path.
