Shepherd of Yisra'el, give ear; you who lead Yosef like a flock. Dweller of the Cherubim, shine forth.

Before Efrayim, Binyamin, and Menashsheh, stir up your strength, and come to our deliverance.

Elohim, restore us, and let your face shine, and we will be saved.

יהוה Elohim of hosts, how long will you be angry at the prayer of your people?

You have fed them bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in a third measure.

You have made us a quarrel for our neighbors, and our enemies mock us.

Elohim of hosts, restore us, and let your face shine, and we will be saved.

You brought a vine out of Mitsrayim; you drove out nations and planted it.

You cleared the ground before it, and caused its roots to take hold, and it filled the land.

Its shade covered the mountains, and its branches were the cedars of El.

It sent out its branches to the sea, and its shoots to the river.

Why have you broken down its walls, so that all who pass by pluck it?

Let the wild boar from the forest ravage it, and let the wild animals of the field feed on it.

Elohim of hosts, please return; look from heaven and see, and visit this vine.

And the shoot that your right hand planted, and the son whom you made strong for yourself.

It is burned with fire; it is cut down; they perish from the rebuke of your face.

Let your hand be upon the man of your right hand, upon the son of man whom you made strong for yourself.

Then we will not turn back from you; give us life, and we will call on your name.
