And יהוה spoke to Mosheh in the wilderness of Sinai, in the second month, in the second year of their going out from the land of Mitsrayim, saying:

And the sons of Yisra'el shall make the Pesach offering in its appointed time.

In the fourteenth day of this month, between the evenings, you shall make it in its appointed time, according to all its statutes and according to all its ordinances you shall make it.

And Mosheh spoke to the sons of Yisra'el to make the Pesach offering.

And they made the Pesach offering in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, between the evenings, in the wilderness of Sinai; according to all that יהוה commanded Mosheh, so the sons of Yisra'el did.

And there were men who were unclean because of a human corpse, and they were not able to make the Pesach offering on that day. And they came near before Mosheh and before Aharon on that day.

And those men said to him, 'We are unclean because of a human corpse; why are we kept back from bringing the offering of יהוה in its appointed time among the sons of Yisra'el?'

And Mosheh said to them, 'Stand still, and I will hear what יהוה commands concerning you.'

And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying:

'Speak to the sons of Yisra'el, saying, Any man who is unclean because of a corpse, or is on a distant journey, you or your generations, and makes a Pesach offering to יהוה.'

'In the second month, on the fourteenth day, between the evenings, they shall make it; with unleavened bread and bitter herbs they shall eat it.'

'They shall not leave any of it until morning, and they shall not break a bone in it; according to all the statute of the Pesach offering they shall make it.'

'But the man who is clean and was not on a journey, and neglected to make the Pesach offering, that person shall be cut off from his people, because he did not bring the offering of יהוה in its appointed time; that man shall bear his sin.'

'And if a sojourner dwells among you, and makes a Pesach offering to יהוה, according to the statute of the Pesach offering and according to its ordinance, so he shall do; one statute shall be for you and for the sojourner and for the native of the land.'

'And on the day the Tabernacle was set up, the cloud covered the Tabernacle, the Tent of Testimony, and in the evening it was upon the Tabernacle like the appearance of fire until morning.'

'So it shall be continually; the cloud shall cover it, and the appearance of fire by night.'

'And when the cloud was lifted from upon the Tent, then the sons of Yisra'el would journey, and in the place where the cloud settled, there the sons of Yisra'el would encamp.'

'At the command of יהוה the sons of Yisra'el would journey, and at the command of יהוה they would encamp; all the days that the cloud settled upon the Tabernacle, they would encamp.'

'And when the cloud lingered upon the Tabernacle many days, then the sons of Yisra'el would keep the charge of יהוה and would not journey.'

'And sometimes the cloud would be a few days upon the Tabernacle; at the command of יהוה they would encamp, and at the command of יהוה they would journey.'

'And sometimes the cloud would be from evening until morning, and the cloud would be lifted in the morning, and they would journey; or by day and by night, and the cloud would be lifted, and they would journey.'

'Or for two days, or for a month, or for days; when the cloud lingered upon the Tabernacle to settle upon it, the sons of Yisra'el would encamp and would not journey, and when it was lifted, they would journey.'

'At the command of יהוה they would encamp, and at the command of יהוה they would journey; the charge of יהוה they kept, at the command of יהוה by the hand of Mosheh.'
