And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying:

Speak to Aharon and say to him, When you set up the lamps, toward the face of the lampstand, the seven lamps shall shine.

And Aharon did so; toward the face of the lampstand he set up its lamps, as יהוה commanded Mosheh.

And this is the work of the lampstand, hammered gold, from its base to its flower; hammered it is. According to the appearance which יהוה showed Mosheh, so he made the lampstand.

And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying:

Take the Leviyim from among the sons of Yisra'el and purify them.

And thus you shall do to them to purify them: Sprinkle on them water of sin-offering, and let a razor pass over all their flesh, and let them wash their garments, and let them be purified.

And take a bull, son of cattle, and its grain offering, fine flour mixed with oil, and a second bull, son of cattle, you shall take for a sin offering.

And you shall bring the Leviyim before the Tent of Meeting, and you shall gather all the assembly of the sons of Yisra'el.

And you shall bring the Leviyim before יהוה, and the sons of Yisra'el shall lay their hands on the Leviyim.

And Aharon shall wave the Leviyim as a wave offering before יהוה, from among the sons of Yisra'el, and they shall be to serve the service of יהוה.

And the Leviyim shall lay their hands on the heads of the bulls, and make the one a sin offering and the one a burnt offering to יהוה, to make atonement for the Leviyim.

And you shall set the Leviyim before Aharon and before his sons, and wave them as a wave offering to יהוה.

And you shall separate the Leviyim from among the sons of Yisra'el, and the Leviyim shall be Mine.

And after this, the Leviyim shall come to serve the service of the Tent of Meeting, and you shall purify them and wave them as a wave offering.

For they are wholly given to Me from among the sons of Yisra'el. Instead of every firstborn, every firstborn of the sons of Yisra'el, I have taken them for Myself.

For Mine is every firstborn among the sons of Yisra'el, in man and in beast; on the day I struck every firstborn in the land of Mitsrayim, I consecrated them to Myself.

And I took the Leviyim instead of every firstborn among the sons of Yisra'el.

And I gave the Leviyim as a gift to Aharon and to his sons from among the sons of Yisra'el, to do the service of the sons of Yisra'el in the Tent of Meeting, and to make atonement for the sons of Yisra'el, so that there will not be a plague among the sons of Yisra'el when the sons of Yisra'el come near the holy place.

And Mosheh and Aharon and all the assembly of the sons of Yisra'el did to the Leviyim according to all that יהוה commanded Mosheh concerning the Leviyim; so the sons of Yisra'el did to them.

And the Leviyim purified themselves and washed their garments, and Aharon waved them as a wave offering before יהוה, and Aharon made atonement for them to purify them.

And after this, the Leviyim came to do their service in the Tent of Meeting before Aharon and before his sons; as יהוה commanded Mosheh concerning the Leviyim, so they did to them.

And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying:

This is what is for the Leviyim: From twenty-five years old and upward, he shall come to perform service in the service of the Tent of Meeting.

And from fifty years old, he shall return from the service of the work and shall not serve anymore.

And he shall minister to his brothers in the Tent of Meeting, to keep guard duty, but he shall not do service. Thus you shall do to the Leviyim concerning their watches.
