And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying:

Make for yourself two trumpets of silver; of hammered work you shall make them, and they shall be for you for calling the assembly and for signaling the camps.

And they shall blow in them, and the whole assembly shall gather to you at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.

And if one blows, then the leaders, the heads of the thousands of Yisra'el, shall gather to you.

And you shall blow a blast, and the camps that encamp eastward shall move.

And you shall blow a blast a second time, and the camps that encamp southward shall move; a blast they shall blow for their journeys.

And when gathering the congregation, you shall blow, but you shall not sound a blast.

And the sons of Aharon, the priests, shall blow the trumpets, and they shall be for you a statute forever for your generations.

And when you come to war in your land against the oppressor who oppresses you, then you shall sound a blast with the trumpets, and you shall be remembered before יהוה your Elohim, and you shall be saved from your enemies.

And on your day of joy and on your appointed times and on the beginnings of your months, you shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over your peace offerings, and they shall be for you for a remembrance before your Elohim; I am יהוה your Elohim.

And it happened in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth of the month, the cloud was lifted from over the Tabernacle of the Testimony.

And the sons of Yisra'el journeyed by their journeys from the wilderness of Sin, and the cloud settled in the wilderness of Paran.

And they journeyed the first time according to the command of יהוה by the hand of Mosheh.

And the standard of the camp of the sons of Yehudah journeyed first, according to their armies, and over its army was Naḥshon son of Aminadav.

And over the army of the tribe of the sons of Yissakhar was Nethan'el son of Zuar.

And over the army of the tribe of the sons of Zevulun was Eli'av son of Helon.

And the Tabernacle was taken down, and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari journeyed, carrying the Tabernacle.

And the standard of the camp of the sons of Re'uven journeyed, according to their armies, and over its army was Elitsur son of Shed'ur.

And over the army of the tribe of the sons of Shimon was Shelumi'el son of Tsurishaddai.

And over the army of the tribe of the sons of Gad was Eliyasaf son of De'u'el.

And the sons of Kehat journeyed, carrying the sanctuary, and they set up the Tabernacle before they arrived.

And the standard of the camp of the sons of Efrayim journeyed, according to their armies, and over its army was Elisama son of Amihud.

And over the army of the tribe of the sons of Menashsheh was Gamli'el son of Pedah'tzur.

And over the army of the tribe of the sons of Binyamin was Avidan son of Gideoni.

And the standard of the camp of the sons of Dan, the rear guard of all the camps, journeyed, according to their armies, and over its army was Aḥi'ezer son of Ammishaddai.

And over the army of the tribe of the sons of Asher was Pag'i'el son of Okhron.

And over the army of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali was Aḥira son of Eynan.

These are the journeys of the sons of Yisra'el according to their armies, and they journeyed.

And Mosheh said to Ḥovav son of Re'u'el the Midianite, Mosheh's father-in-law, 'We are journeying to the place of which יהוה said, 'I will give it to you'; come with us, and we will do good to you, for יהוה has spoken good concerning Yisra'el.'

And he said to him, 'I will not go, but rather to my land and to my birthplace I will go.'

And he said, 'Please do not leave us, because you know how to encamp in the wilderness, and you shall be eyes for us.'

And it shall be, if you go with us, then it shall be the good that יהוה does to us, and we will do good to you.'

And they journeyed from Mount יהוה a journey of three days, and the Ark of the Covenant of יהוה journeyed before them a journey of three days to search out a resting place for them.

And the cloud of יהוה was over them by day when they journeyed from the camp.

And it happened when the Ark journeyed, that Mosheh said, 'Rise up, יהוה, and let your enemies be scattered, and let those who hate you flee from your presence.'

And when it rested, he said, 'Return, יהוה, to the ten thousands of thousands of Yisra'el.'
