And Bilaam saw that it was good in the eyes of יהוה to bless Yisra'el, and he did not go, time after time, to meet omens. And he set his face toward the wilderness.

And Bilaam lifted up his eyes and saw Yisra'el dwelling according to its tribes, and the Spirit of Elohim came upon him.

And he lifted up his saying, the saying of Bilaam, son of Be'or, and the saying of the man whose eye is open.

The saying of one who hears the words of El, who sees the vision of Shaddai, falling, and with eyes open.

How good are your tents, Ya'aqov, your dwelling places, Yisra'el!

Like valleys spread out, like gardens by a river, like aloes יהוה has planted, like cedars beside water.

Water will flow from his buckets, and his seed will be in abundant waters. And his king will be higher than Agag, and his kingdom will be exalted.

El bringing him out of Mitsrayim, like the horns of a wild ox, for him. He will eat nations, his adversaries, and he will crush their bones, and he will pierce them with his arrows.

He crouched, he lay down like a lion, and like a lioness; who will rouse him? Those who bless you are blessed, and those who curse you are cursed.

And Balak's anger burned against Bilaam, and he clapped his hands, and Balak said to Bilaam, 'I called you to curse my enemies, and behold, you have blessed them, yes, blessed them, these three times.'

And now, flee to your place! I said, 'I will honor you, but behold, יהוה has restrained you from honor.'

And Bilaam said to Balak, 'Did I not also speak to your messengers whom you sent to me, saying?'

'If Balak gives me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the command of יהוה to do good or bad from my own heart. Whatever יהוה speaks, that I will speak.'

'And now, behold, I am going to my people. Come, I will advise you what this people will do to your people in the latter days.'

And he lifted up his saying, and he said, 'The saying of Bilaam, son of Be'or, and the saying of the man whose eye is open.'

'The saying of one who hears the words of El, and knows the knowledge of the Most High, who sees the vision of Shaddai, falling, and with eyes open.'

'I will see him, but not now; I will behold him, but not near. A star has come out of Ya'aqov, and a scepter has risen from Yisra'el, and he will strike the corners of Mo'av, and destroy all the sons of Sheth.'

'And Edom will be a possession, and Se'ir will be a possession of its enemies, and Yisra'el will do valiantly.'

'And one will rule from Ya'aqov, and will cause the survivor of the city to perish.'

And he saw 'Amaleq, and he lifted up his saying, and he said, ''Amaleq is the first of the nations, but its end will be utter destruction.'

And he saw the Qeyni, and he lifted up his saying, and he said, 'Your dwelling place is strong, and your nest is set in the rock.'

'But will the Qeyni be consumed, when Ashshur will take you captive?'

And he lifted up his saying, and he said, 'Alas! Who will live when El does this?'

'And ships will come from Kittim, and they will afflict Ashshur, and they will afflict 'Ever, and he also will be for destruction.'

And Bilaam got up and went and returned to his place, and Balak also went his way.
