And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying:

Speak to El'azar, son of Aharon the priest, and he shall lift up the fire pans from among the burning, and scatter the fire away, for they are holy.

These fire pans of the sinners, they made them into hammered sheets, a plating for the altar, because they brought them before יהוה, and they were made holy, and they shall be a sign for the sons of Yisra'el.

And El'azar the priest took the bronze fire pans, which the burned ones had brought, and he hammered them into plating for the altar.

A remembrance for the sons of Yisra'el, so that no outsider, who is not from the seed of Aharon, may come near to burn incense before יהוה, and it will not be like Korach and his company, as יהוה spoke to him by the hand of Mosheh.

And all the assembly of the sons of Yisra'el grumbled on the next day against Mosheh and against Aharon, saying, 'You have killed the people of יהוה.'

And it happened when the assembly gathered against Mosheh and against Aharon, and they turned toward the Tent of Meeting, and behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of יהוה appeared.

And Mosheh and Aharon came to the front of the Tent of Meeting.

And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying:

'Lift yourselves from among this assembly, and I will consume them in an instant.' And they fell on their faces.

And Mosheh said to Aharon, 'Take the fire pan, and put fire from upon the altar on it, and place incense, and go quickly to the assembly, and make atonement for them, because the wrath has gone out from before יהוה, the plague has begun.'

And Aharon took it, as Mosheh spoke, and ran into the midst of the assembly, and behold, the plague had begun among the people, and he put the incense on, and made atonement for the people.

And he stood between the dead and the living, and the plague was stopped.

And the dead in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, besides those who died because of Korach.

And Aharon returned to Mosheh at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting, and the plague was stopped.

And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying:

'Speak to the sons of Yisra'el, and take from them a staff, a staff for each house of their fathers, from all their princes, twelve staffs, a man, his name you shall write on his staff.

'And the name of Aharon you shall write on the staff of Levi, for there is one staff for the head of their house of fathers.'

'And you shall place them in the Tent of Meeting before the Testimony, where I will meet with you.'

'And it shall be, the man whom I choose, his staff shall sprout, and I will silence from upon me the grumblings of the sons of Yisra'el, which they grumble against you.'

And Mosheh spoke to the sons of Yisra'el, and all their princes gave him a staff, a staff for each prince, a staff for each prince for their house of fathers, twelve staffs, and the staff of Aharon among their staffs.

And Mosheh placed the staffs before יהוה in the Tent of Testimony.

And it happened on the next day, and Mosheh came into the Tent of Testimony, and behold, the staff of Aharon for the house of Levi had sprouted, and it brought forth a blossom, and it budded a bud, and it produced almonds.

And Mosheh brought out all the staffs from before יהוה to all the sons of Yisra'el, and they saw, and each man took his staff.

And יהוה said to Mosheh, 'Return the staff of Aharon before the Testimony for safekeeping, as a sign for the rebellious sons, and you shall end their grumblings from upon me, and they shall not die.'

And Mosheh did as יהוה commanded him, so he did.

And the sons of Yisra'el said to Mosheh, saying, 'Behold, we perish, we are lost, we all are lost.'

Everyone who comes near, who comes near to the dwelling place of יהוה, shall die. Have we finished perishing?'
