Look, I am sending my messenger, and he will clear the way before me. And suddenly the Master whom you are seeking will come to his temple, and the messenger of the covenant in whom you delight. Look, he is coming, says יהוה of hosts.

But who can endure the day of his coming? And who will stand when he appears? For he is like a refiner's fire and like launderers' lye.

And he will sit refining and purifying silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and like silver, and they will be those who present an offering to יהוה in righteousness.

Then the offering of Yehudah and Yerushalayim will be pleasing to יהוה, like the days of old and like the former years.

And I will come near to you for judgment, and I will be a swift witness against sorcerers, and against adulterers, and against those who swear falsely, and against those who oppress the wages of a hired worker, the widow, and the orphan, and those who turn aside the sojourner, and do not fear me, says יהוה of hosts.

For I, יהוה, have not changed, and you, sons of Ya'aqov, have not been destroyed.

From the days of your fathers you have turned aside from my statutes and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you, says יהוה of hosts. But you say, 'In what way shall we return?'

Will a man rob Elohim? Yet you rob me. But you say, 'In what way have we robbed you? In tithes and in offerings.'

You are cursed with a curse, and yet you rob me, the whole nation.

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in my house, and test me now with this, says יהוה of hosts, if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until there is no more need.

And I will rebuke the devourer for you, and it will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor will your vine in the field fail, says יהוה of hosts.

And all nations will call you blessed, for you will be a land of delight, says יהוה of hosts.

Your words have been harsh against me, says יהוה. But you say, 'In what way have we spoken against you?'

You say, 'It is useless to serve Elohim, and what is the profit that we have kept his charge and that we have walked in mourning before יהוה of hosts?'

And now we call the arrogant blessed; indeed, those who do wickedness are built up; indeed, they test Elohim and escape.

Then those who fear יהוה spoke to one another, and יהוה listened and heard, and a book of remembrance was written before him for those who fear יהוה and who meditate on his name.

And they will be mine, says יהוה of hosts, on the day when I am making up my treasured possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.

Then you will return and see the difference between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves Elohim and one who has not served him.

For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace, and all the arrogant and all who do wickedness will be stubble, and the day that is coming will set them ablaze, says יהוה of hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch.

But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings, and you will go out and leap like calves from the stall.

And you will trample the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day that I am preparing, says יהוה of hosts.

Remember the law of Mosheh my servant, which I commanded him at Horeb for all Yisra'el, the statutes and the ordinances.

Behold, I am sending to you Eliyyah the prophet before the coming of the great and awesome day of יהוה.

And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children, and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a ban.
