You shall not make for yourselves idols, nor shall you set up for yourselves a carved image or a standing stone, and you shall not place a sculpted stone in your land to bow down on it, for I am יהוה your Elohim.

You shall keep my Sabbaths and you shall revere my sanctuary; I am יהוה.

If you walk in my statutes and keep my commandments and do them,

then I will give your rains in their season, and the land shall give its produce, and the trees of the field shall give their fruit.

And your threshing shall reach the vintage, and the vintage shall reach the sowing, and you shall eat your bread to the full, and you shall dwell securely in your land.

And I will give peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and no one shall make you afraid, and I will remove evil beasts from the land, and no sword shall pass through your land.

And you shall pursue your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.

And five of you shall pursue a hundred, and a hundred of you shall pursue ten thousand, and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.

And I will turn to you, and I will make you fruitful, and I will multiply you, and I will establish my covenant with you.

And you shall eat the old store, and you shall bring out the old because of the new.

And I will set my dwelling place among you, and my soul shall not abhor you.

And I will walk among you, and I will be your Elohim, and you shall be my people.

I am יהוה your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim from being their slaves, and I broke the bars of your yoke and led you walking upright.

But if you do not listen to me, and do not do all these commandments,

and if you reject my statutes, and if your soul abhors my judgments, so that you do not do all my commandments, to break my covenant,

then I also will do this to you: I will appoint terror over you, consumption and fever that consume the eyes and cause the soul to waste away, and you shall sow your seed in vain, and your enemies shall eat it.

And I will set my face against you, and you shall be struck down before your enemies, and those who hate you shall rule over you, and you shall flee when no one pursues you.

And if even after this you do not listen to me, then I will discipline you seven times more for your sins.

And I will break the pride of your strength, and I will make your heavens like iron, and your land like bronze.

And your strength shall be spent in vain, and your land shall not give its produce, and the trees of the land shall not give their fruit.

And if you walk with me in opposition, and are unwilling to listen to me, then I will add to you seven more plagues, according to your sins.

And I will send the wild beasts of the field against you, and they shall bereave you, and cut off your livestock, and diminish you, and your roads shall become desolate.

And if you are not corrected by these things, and you walk with me in opposition,

then I also will walk with you in opposition, and I myself will strike you seven times for your sins.

And I will bring against you a sword that avenges the vengeance of the covenant, and you shall be gathered into your cities, and I will send pestilence among you, and you shall be given into the hand of the enemy.

When I break your staff of bread, then ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall give back your bread by weight, and you shall eat, but you shall not be satisfied.

And if even in this you do not listen to me, and you walk with me in opposition,

then I also will walk with you in furious opposition, and I myself will discipline you seven times for your sins.

And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and you shall eat the flesh of your daughters.

And I will destroy your high places, and I will cut down your incense altars, and I will cast your carcasses upon the carcasses of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.

And I will make your cities a desolation, and I will lay waste your sanctuaries, and I will not smell your pleasing aromas.

And I will lay the land desolate, and your enemies who dwell in it shall be astonished at it.

And you I will scatter among the nations, and I will draw out a sword after you, and your land shall be a desolation, and your cities shall be a desolation.

Then the land shall make up for its Sabbaths all the days of its desolation, when you are in the land of your enemies; then the land shall rest and make up for its Sabbaths.

All the days of its desolation it shall rest, the rest that it did not have on your Sabbaths when you lived on it.

And as for those who are left among you, I will send faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies, and the sound of a driven leaf shall pursue them, and they shall flee as from a sword, and they shall fall, with no one pursuing.

And they shall stumble one against another, as if fleeing from a sword, though no one pursues, and you shall have no standing before your enemies.

And you shall perish among the nations, and the land of your enemies shall consume you.

And those of you who are left shall waste away in their iniquity in the lands of your enemies, and also in the iniquities of their fathers with them they shall waste away.

And they shall confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers, in their treachery in which they were treacherous against me, and also because they walked with me in opposition.

I also will walk with them in opposition, and I will bring them into the land of their enemies, or then their uncircumcised heart shall be humbled, and then they shall accept the penalty for their iniquity.

And I will remember my covenant with Ya'aqov, and also my covenant with Yitsḥaq, and also my covenant with Avraham I will remember, and I will remember the land.

And the land shall be forsaken by them, and it shall make up for its Sabbaths while it is desolate from them, and they shall accept the penalty for their iniquity, because, yes, because they rejected my judgments and my soul abhorred my statutes.

And even so, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, nor will I abhor them to annihilate them, to break my covenant with them, for I am יהוה their Elohim.

And I will remember for them the covenant of the first ones, whom I brought out of the land of Mitsrayim before the eyes of the nations, to be their Elohim; I am יהוה.

These are the statutes and the judgments and the teachings that יהוה gave between himself and the sons of Yisra'el on Mount Sinai by the hand of Mosheh.
