And יהוה spoke to Mosheh in Mount Sinai, saying:

Speak to the sons of Yisra'el and say to them, When you come into the land which I am giving you, and the land shall keep a Sabbath to יהוה.

Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vineyard, and gather its produce.

But in the seventh year, a Sabbath of solemn rest shall be for the land, a Sabbath to יהוה; your field you shall not sow, and your vineyard you shall not prune.

The aftergrowth of your harvest you shall not reap, and the grapes of your separated vintage you shall not gather; it shall be a year of solemn rest for the land.

And the Sabbath of the land shall be for you to eat, for you, and for your male servant, and for your female servant, and for your hired worker, and for your sojourner who dwells with you.

And for your livestock, and for the beast that is in your land, all its produce shall be for eating.

And you shall count for yourself seven Sabbaths of years, seven times seven years, and the days of the seven Sabbaths of years shall be for you forty-nine years.

And you shall cause a horn blast to sound in the seventh month, on the tenth of the month, on the Day of Atonement you shall cause a horn blast to sound throughout your land.

And you shall sanctify the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants; it shall be a jubilee for you, and you shall return, each man to his possession, and each man to his family you shall return.

A jubilee, that is the fiftieth year, it shall be for you; you shall not sow, and you shall not reap its aftergrowth, and you shall not gather its separated vintage.

For it is a jubilee; it shall be holy to you; from the field you shall eat its produce.

In this year of jubilee, you shall return, each man to his possession.

And if you sell a sale to your neighbor, or buy from the hand of your neighbor, you shall not wrong one another.

According to the number of years after the jubilee you shall buy from your neighbor; according to the number of years of produce he shall sell to you.

According to the abundance of years you shall increase its purchase, and according to the fewness of years you shall decrease its purchase; for the number of produce he is selling to you.

And you shall not wrong one another, and you shall fear Elohim, for I am יהוה Elohim.

And you shall do My statutes, and My judgments you shall keep, and do them, and you shall dwell on the land securely.

And the land shall give its produce, and you shall eat to satiety, and you shall dwell securely upon it.

And if you say, What shall we eat in the seventh year, behold, we shall not sow, and we shall not gather our produce?

Then I will command My blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall produce for three years.

And you shall sow in the eighth year, and eat of the produce, old until the ninth year, until its produce comes in, you shall eat the old.

And the land shall not be sold permanently, for the land is Mine, for you are sojourners and settlers with Me.

And in all the land of your possession, you shall grant redemption for the land.

If your brother becomes poor, and sells from his possession, then his redeemer, his near kinsman, shall come and redeem his brother's sale.

And if a man has no redeemer, and his hand finds enough for redemption,

Then he shall count the years of its sale, and repay the surplus to the man to whom he sold it, and he shall return to his possession.

But if his hand does not find enough to repay him, then its sale shall remain in the hand of the buyer until the jubilee year, and it shall go out in the jubilee, and he shall return to his possession.

And if a man sells a house of dwelling in a walled city, then his redemption shall be until the completion of the year of its sale; for a full year its redemption shall be.

But if it is not redeemed until a full year is completed, then the house that is in the walled city shall become permanent to the buyer for his generations; it shall not go out in the jubilee.

And the houses of the villages, which do not have a wall around them, shall be reckoned as fields of the land; redemption shall be for them, and in the jubilee they shall go out.

And the cities of the Levites, the houses of the cities of their possession, shall be permanent redemption for the Levites.

And whoever redeems from the Levites, then the sale of a house and its city of possession shall go out in the jubilee, for the houses of the cities of the Levites, that is their possession among the sons of Yisra'el.

And the fields of the common land of their cities shall not be sold, for it is permanent possession for them.

And if your brother becomes poor, and his hand falters with you, then you shall support him, a sojourner and a settler, and he shall live with you.

You shall not take from him interest and increase, and you shall fear Elohim, and your brother shall live with you.

Your silver you shall not give him with interest, and your food you shall not give him with increase.

I am יהוה Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim to give you the land of Kena'an, to be Elohim to you.

And if your brother becomes poor with you, and is sold to you, you shall not work him with the work of a slave.

As a hired worker, as a settler he shall be with you; until the jubilee year he shall work with you.

And he shall go out from you, he and his sons with him, and he shall return to his family, and to the possession of his fathers he shall return.

For they are My servants whom I brought out from the land of Mitsrayim; they shall not be sold with the sale of a slave.

You shall not rule over him with harshness, and you shall fear Elohim.

And your male servant and your female servant, which you shall have from the nations around you, from them you shall buy a male servant and a female servant.

And also from the sons of the sojourners who dwell with you, from them you shall buy, and from their families which are with you, which they have fathered in your land, and they shall be for you as a possession.

And you shall inherit them for your sons after you, to inherit a possession permanently; over them you shall work, but over your brothers, the sons of Yisra'el, man over his brother, you shall not rule over him with harshness.

And when a sojourner or settler with you becomes rich, and your brother becomes poor with him, and is sold to a sojourner or settler with you, or to a branch of a sojourner's family,

After he is sold, there shall be redemption for him; one of his brothers shall redeem him.

Or his uncle, or his uncle's son shall redeem him, or one of his blood relatives from his family shall redeem him; or if his hand has found enough, and he is redeemed.

And he shall reckon with his buyer from the year he was sold to him until the jubilee year, and the money of his sale shall be according to the number of years; as a hired worker he shall be with him.

If there are still many years remaining, according to them he shall repay his redemption from the money of his purchase.

And if few years remain until the jubilee year, according to his years he shall calculate, and he shall repay his redemption.

As a hired worker year by year he shall be with him; he shall not rule over him with harshness in your sight.

And if he is not redeemed by these means, then he shall go out in the jubilee year, he and his sons with him.

For to Me the sons of Yisra'el are servants; they are My servants whom I brought out from the land of Mitsrayim; I am יהוה Elohim.
