And יהוה spoke to Mosheh and to Aharon, saying:

When a person has a swelling or an eruption or a shiny spot on the skin of his flesh, and it is on the skin of his flesh like a plague of leprosy, he shall be brought to Aharon the priest, or to one of his sons the priests.

And the priest shall look at the plague on the skin of the flesh, and if the hair in the plague has turned white, and the appearance of the plague is deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy, and the priest shall look at it and pronounce him unclean.

But if the shiny spot is white on the skin of his flesh, and its appearance is not deeper than the skin, and its hair has not turned white, then the priest shall isolate the plague for seven days.

And the priest shall look at him on the seventh day, and behold, the plague has stayed the same in his eyes, the plague has not spread on the skin, and the priest shall isolate him for seven more days.

And the priest shall look at it a second time on the seventh day, and behold, the plague has faded, and the plague has not spread on the skin, and the priest shall pronounce him clean; it is a rash, and he shall wash his clothes and be clean.

But if the rash spreads on the skin after he has been seen by the priest for his cleansing, and it is seen again by the priest,

And the priest shall look, and behold, the rash has spread on the skin, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is leprosy.

When there is a plague of leprosy on a person, he shall be brought to the priest.

And the priest shall look, and behold, there is a white swelling on the skin, and it has turned the hair white, and there is raw flesh in the swelling.

It is an old leprosy on the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean; he shall not isolate him, for he is unclean.

And if the leprosy breaks out on the skin, and the leprosy covers all the skin of the plague from his head to his feet, as far as the priest can see,

And the priest shall look, and behold, the leprosy has covered all his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce the plague entirely white; he is clean.

But on the day raw flesh appears on him, he shall be pronounced unclean.

And the priest shall look at the raw flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean; the raw flesh is unclean; it is leprosy.

Or if the raw flesh turns again and becomes white, and comes to the priest,

And the priest shall look at it, and behold, the plague has turned white, and the priest shall pronounce the plague clean; it is clean.

And if there is on the skin of his flesh an abscess, and it heals,

And in the place of the abscess there is a white swelling or a reddish-white shiny spot, and it is seen by the priest,

And the priest shall look, and behold, its appearance is lower than the skin, and its hair has turned white, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is a plague of leprosy that has broken out in the abscess.

But if the priest looks at it, and behold, there is no white hair in it, and it is not lower than the skin, and it is faded, then the priest shall isolate it for seven days.

And if it spreads on the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is a plague.

But if the shiny spot remains in place, not spreading on the skin, and it is faded, it is a burn scar, and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

Or if flesh has a burn from fire, and the raw flesh of the burn becomes a reddish-white or white shiny spot,

And the priest shall look at it, and behold, the hair has turned white in the shiny spot, and its appearance is deeper than the skin; it is leprosy that has broken out in the burn, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is a plague of leprosy.

But if the priest looks at it, and behold, there is no white hair in the shiny spot, and it is not lower than the skin, and it is faded, then the priest shall isolate it for seven days.

And the priest shall look at it on the seventh day; if it spreads on the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is a plague of leprosy.

But if the shiny spot remains in place, not spreading on the skin, and it is faded, it is a swelling from the burn, and the priest shall pronounce him clean, for it is a scar from the burn.

And if a man or a woman has a plague on the head or on the chin,

And the priest shall look at the plague, and behold, its appearance is deeper than the skin, and there is thin yellow hair in it, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean; it is ringworm, it is leprosy of the head or the chin.

And when the priest looks at the plague of ringworm, behold, its appearance is not deeper than the skin, and there is no black hair in it, then the priest shall isolate the plague of ringworm for seven days.

And the priest shall look at the plague on the seventh day, and behold, the ringworm has not spread, and there is no yellow hair in it, and the appearance of the ringworm is not deeper than the skin, and the priest shall pronounce him clean; and he shall wash his clothes and be clean.

But if the ringworm spreads on the skin after he has been pronounced clean,

And the priest shall look at it on the seventh day, and behold, the ringworm has not spread on the skin, and its appearance is not deeper than the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him clean; and he shall wash his clothes and be clean.

But if the ringworm spreads on the skin after his cleansing,

And the priest shall look, and behold, the ringworm has spread on the skin; the priest need not look for yellow hair; he is unclean.

But if the ringworm has stayed in place in his eyes, and black hair has grown in it, the ringworm has healed; he is clean, and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

And if a man or a woman has shiny spots on the skin of their flesh, white shiny spots,

And the priest shall look, and behold, on the skin of their flesh are faded white shiny spots; it is vitiligo that has broken out on the skin; he is clean.

And if a man's hair on his head falls out, he is bald; he is clean.

And if his head is bald from the front or from the back, he is bald; he is clean.

But if there is on the bald spot or on the bald patch a reddish-white plague, it is a spreading leprosy on his bald spot or on his bald patch.

And the priest shall look at it, and behold, the swelling of the plague is reddish-white on his bald spot or on his bald patch, like the appearance of leprosy on the skin of flesh.

He is a leprous person; he is unclean; the priest shall pronounce him unclean because of the plague on his head.

And the leper on whom is the plague shall have his clothes torn and his head uncovered, and he shall cover his upper lip and cry out, 'Unclean, unclean!'

All the days that the plague is on him, he shall be unclean; he shall dwell alone; his dwelling shall be outside the camp.

And if there is a plague of leprosy on a garment, on a woolen garment or on a linen garment,

or on the warp or on the weft of linen or wool, or on a skin, or on any article made of skin,

and the plague is greenish or reddish on the garment, or on the skin, or on the warp or on the weft, or on any article of skin, it is a plague of leprosy, and it shall be shown to the priest.

And the priest shall look at the plague and isolate the plague for seven days.

And he shall look at the plague on the seventh day; if the plague has spread on the garment, or on the warp or on the weft, or on the skin, whatever article of skin is made, the plague is virulent leprosy; it is unclean.

And he shall burn the garment, or the warp or the weft of wool or linen, or any article of skin on which is the plague, for it is virulent leprosy; it shall be burned in fire.

And if the priest looks, and behold, the plague has not spread on the garment, or on the warp or on the weft, or on any article of skin,

then the priest shall command that they wash the article on which is the plague, and he shall isolate it for seven more days.

And the priest shall look at it after it has been washed, and behold, the plague has not changed its appearance, and the plague has not spread; it is unclean; it shall be burned in fire, whether it is a flaw on its bald spot or on its bald patch.

But if the priest looks, and behold, the plague has faded after it has been washed, then he shall tear it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the weft.

And if it appears again on the garment, or on the warp or on the weft, or on any article of skin, it is a spreading plague; it shall be burned in fire, that on which is the plague.

And the garment, or the warp or the weft, or any article of skin, from which the plague has been removed, if it is washed again, it shall be clean.

This is the law of the plague of leprosy on a garment of wool or linen, or on the warp or the weft, or on any article of skin, to pronounce it clean or unclean.
