And יהוה spoke to Mosheh, saying:

Speak to the sons of Yisra'el, saying, A woman, when she conceives and bears a male child, then she will be unclean seven days, as in the days of her menstrual impurity she will be unclean.

And on the eighth day, the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.

And thirty days and three days she shall remain in the blood of her purification; she shall not touch any holy thing, nor shall she enter the sanctuary until the days of her purification are completed.

And if she bears a female child, then she will be unclean two weeks, as in her menstrual impurity, and sixty days and six days she shall remain in the blood of her purification.

And when the days of her purification are completed, for a son or for a daughter, she shall bring a lamb in its first year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon or a turtledove for a sin offering to the priest, at the entrance of the tent of meeting.

And he shall present it before יהוה and make atonement for her, and she shall be clean from the issue of her blood; this is the law for her who bears a male or a female child.

And if her hand does not find enough for a lamb, then she shall take two turtledoves or two young pigeons, one for a burnt offering and one for a sin offering, and the priest shall make atonement for her, and she shall be clean.
