And Yehoshua got up early in the morning and they journeyed from the Acacias and they came to the Jordan, he and all the sons of Yisra'el, and they lodged there before they crossed.

And it was at the end of three days and the officers passed through the midst of the camp.

And they commanded the people saying, 'When you see the Ark of the Covenant of יהוה your Elohim and the priests the Levites carrying it, then you shall journey from your place and go after it.'

'Only let there be a distance between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure; do not come near to it, so that you may know the way in which you shall go, for you have not passed the way this way or that way before.'

And Yehoshua said to the people, 'Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow יהוה will do wonders in your midst.'

And Yehoshua said to the priests saying, 'Lift up the Ark of the Covenant and cross before the people.' And they lifted up the Ark of the Covenant and went before the people.

And יהוה said to Yehoshua, 'Today I will begin to make you great in the eyes of all Yisra'el, so that they may know that as I was with Mosheh, so I will be with you.'

'And you shall command the priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant saying, 'When you come to the edge of the waters of the Jordan, in the Jordan you shall stand.'

And Yehoshua said to the sons of Yisra'el, 'Come here and hear the words of יהוה your Elohim.'

And Yehoshua said, 'By this you shall know that the living Elohim is in your midst, and He will surely dispossess from before you the Kena'ani, and the Ḥitti, and the Ḥivvi, and the Perizzi, and the Girgashi, and the Emori, and the Yevusi.'

'Behold, the Ark of the Covenant of Adonai of all the earth is crossing before you in the Jordan.'

'And now, take for yourselves twelve men from the tribes of Yisra'el, one man, one man for the tribe.'

'And it shall be, when the soles of the feet of the priests carrying the Ark of יהוה, Adonai of all the earth, rest in the waters of the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off, the waters coming down from above, and they shall stand as one heap.'

'And it was when the people journeyed from their tents to cross the Jordan, and the priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant were before the people.'

'And when the carriers of the Ark came to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests carrying the Ark were dipped in the edge of the water, and the Jordan was full over all its banks all the days of harvest.'

'And the waters coming down from above stood, a single heap, very far from Adam, the city which is beside Tsartan, and the waters going down to the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, were cut off, and the people crossed opposite Yericho.'

'And the priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant of יהוה stood on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan, prepared, and all Yisra'el were crossing on dry ground until all the nation finished crossing the Jordan.'
