And all the assembly of the sons of Yisra'el gathered at Shiloh, and they set up there the Tent of Meeting, and the land was subdued before them.

And there remained among the sons of Yisra'el, who had not divided their inheritance, seven tribes.

And Yehoshua said to the sons of Yisra'el, 'How long will you be negligent to go in to possess the land which יהוה, the Elohim of your fathers, has given you?'

'Provide for yourselves three men for each tribe, and I will send them, and they will arise and walk through the land and write it according to their inheritance, and they will come to me.'

'And you will divide it into seven parts; Yehudah will stand on its border from the south, and the house of Yosef will stand on their border from the north.'

'And you will write the land into seven parts, and bring them here to me, and I will cast lots for you here before יהוה our Elohim.'

'For there is no portion for the Levites among you, for the priesthood of יהוה is their inheritance; and Gad and Reuven and half the tribe of Menasheh took their inheritance across the Jordan eastward, which Mosheh, servant of יהוה, gave them.'

'And the men arose and went, and Yehoshua commanded those who went to write the land, saying, 'Go and walk through the land and write it, and return to me, and here I will cast lots for you before יהוה in Shiloh.''

'And the men went and passed through the land, and wrote it by cities into seven parts on a scroll, and they came to Yehoshua at the camp in Shiloh.'

'And Yehoshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before יהוה, and there Yehoshua divided the land to the sons of Yisra'el according to their divisions.'

'And the lot of the tribe of the sons of Binyamin came up for their families, and the border of their lot came out between the sons of Yehudah and the sons of Yosef.'

'And their border was to the north side from the Jordan, and the border went up to the shoulder of Yericho from the north, and went up the mountain westward, and its outlets were to the wilderness of Beit-Aven.'

'And from there the border went over to Luz, to the shoulder of Luz southward, that is Beit-El, and the border went down to Atarot-Addar, on the mountain that is south of Lower Beit-Ḥoron.'

'And the border turned westward to the sea side, southward from the mountain that is opposite Beit-Ḥoron southward, and its outlets were to Qiryat-Ba'al, that is Qiryat-Yearim, a city of the sons of Yehudah; this is the sea side.'

'And the south side from the edge of Qiryat-Yearim, and the border went out westward, and went out to the spring of Nephtoah.'

'And the border went down to the edge of the mountain that is opposite the valley of Ben-Hinnom, which is in the plain of Repha'im northward, and the valley of Hinnom went down to the shoulder of the Yevusi southward, and went down to En-Rogel.'

'And it turned northward and went out to En-Shemesh, and went out to the passes that are opposite Adummim, and went down to the stone of Bohan son of Reuven.'

'And it went over to the shoulder opposite the Arabah northward, and went down to the Arabah.'

'And the border went over to the shoulder of Beit-Ḥaggla northward, and its outlets were to the tongue of the Salt Sea northward, to the end of the Jordan southward; this is the south border.'

'And the Jordan bordered it on the east side; this is the inheritance of the sons of Binyamin, for its borders all around, for their families.'

'And the cities for the tribe of the sons of Binyamin for their families were Yericho, and Beit-Ḥaggla, and the valley of Qetsits.'

'And Beit-Ha'aravah, and Tsemarayim, and Beit-El.'

'And the 'Avvim, and the Parah, and 'Ofrah.'

'And Kefar-Ha'ammonah, and the 'Ofni, and Geva; twelve cities and their villages.'

'Gib'on, and Ramah, and Beerot.'

'And the Mitspeh, and the Kefirah, and the Motzah.'

'And Rekem, and Yirpe'el, and Tar'alah.'

'And Tsala, and Ha'elef, and the Yevusi, that is Yerushalayim; fourteen cities and their villages; this is the inheritance of the sons of Binyamin for their families.'
