And the lot for the tribe of the sons of Yehudah, by their clans, was to the border of Edom, to the wilderness of Tsîn, southward, from the edge of Tayman.

And their border was southward, from the edge of the Salt Sea, from the tongue that faces southward.

And it went out from the south to the ascent of 'Aqrabîm, and it passed Tsînah, and it went up from the south to Qadesh Barne'a, and it passed Ḥetsron, and it went up to 'Addarah, and it turned back to Qaraq'ah.

And it passed 'Atsmonah, and it went out to the stream of Mitsrayim, and the exits of the border were to the sea. This shall be your border southward.

And the border eastward was the Salt Sea, to the end of the Yarden, and the border to the north side was from the tongue of the sea, from the end of the Yarden.

And the border went up to Beit Ḥaglâh, and it passed from the north of Beit ha-'Aravah, and the border went up to the stone of Bohan son of Re'uven.

And the border went up to Devirah, from the valley of 'Akor, and northward it faced Gilgal, which is opposite the ascent of 'Adummîm, which is south of the stream, and the border passed to the waters of 'Ein Shemesh, and its exits were to 'Ein Rogel.

And the border went up to the valley of Ben-Hinnom, to the shoulder of the Yevusî from the south, this is Yerushalayim, and the border went up to the head of the mountain which is before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the edge of the valley of Refa'îm northward.

And the border was drawn from the head of the mountain to the spring of Nephtoah, and it went out to the cities of Mount 'Efron, and the border was drawn to Ba'alah, this is Qiryat Ye'arîm.

And the border turned back from Ba'alah westward to Mount Se'îr, and it passed to the shoulder of Mount Ye'arîm northward, this is Kesalon, and it went down to Beit Shemesh, and it passed to Timnah.

And the border went out to the shoulder of 'Eqron northward, and the border was drawn to Shikronah, and it passed to Mount Ba'alah, and it went out to Yavne'el, and the exits of the border were to the sea.

And the border westward was the Great Sea, and this border is the border of the sons of Yehudah, around their clans.

And to Kalev son of Yefunneh, he gave a portion among the sons of Yehudah, according to the command of יהוה to Yehoshua', the city of Arba', father of the 'Anakîm, this is Ḥevron.

And Kalev drove out from there the three sons of the 'Anakîm: Sheshai, and Aḥiman, and Talmai, offspring of the 'Anakîm.

And he went up from there to the inhabitants of Devir, and the name of Devir before was Qiryat-Sefer.

And Kalev said, 'Whoever strikes Qiryat-Sefer and captures it, I will give him 'Aksah my daughter as a wife.'

Tsanan, and Ḥadashah, and Migdal-Gad.

And Dîlan, and the Mizpah, and Yoqte'el.

Lakish, and Bokath, and 'Eglon.

And Gederoth, Beit-Dagon, and Na'amah, and Maqedah: sixteen cities and their villages.

'Eqron and its daughters and its villages.

From 'Eqron westward, all that is near Ashdod, and its villages.

Ashdod, its daughters and its villages; 'Azzah, its daughters and its villages, to the stream of Mitsrayim, and the Great Sea, and the border.

And in the hill country: Shamir, and Yattir, and Sokoh.

And Dannah, and Qiryat-Sannah, this is Devir.

And 'Anab, and 'Eshtemoh, and 'Anim.

And Goshen, and Ḥolon, and Giloh: eleven cities and their villages.

'Arab, and Rumah, and 'Esh'an.

And the Yevusî, the inhabitants of Yerushalayim, the sons of Yehudah could not drive them out, and the Yevusî lived with the sons of Yehudah in Yerushalayim until this day.
