Tzidqiyahu was twenty-one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Yerushalayim. And the name of his mother was Ḥamutal daughter of Yirmeyahu from Libnah.

And he did evil in the eyes of יהוה, according to all that Yehoyaqim had done.

For because of the anger of יהוה it was in Yerushalayim and Yehudah until He cast them out from His presence. And Tzidqiyahu rebelled against the king of Babel.

And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, Nebukhadretstsar king of Babel, he and all his army, came against Yerushalayim. And they encamped against it, and they built siege ramps against it all around.

And the city came under siege until the eleventh year of King Tzidqiyahu.

In the fourth month, on the ninth day of the month, the famine was severe in the city, and there was no bread for the people of the land.

And the city was breached, and all the men of war fled. And they went out of the city by night, by way of the gate between the walls, which is by the king's garden. And the Kasdim were against the city all around. And they went by way of the Arabah.

And the army of the Kasdim pursued the king. And they overtook Tzidqiyahu in the plains of Yeriḥo, and all his army scattered from him.

And they captured the king. And they brought him up to the king of Babel at Riblah, in the land of Ḥamat, and he pronounced judgment upon him.

And the king of Babel slaughtered the sons of Tzidqiyahu before his eyes. And also all the princes of Yehudah he slaughtered at Riblah.

And the eyes of Tzidqiyahu he blinded. And he bound him with bronze chains. And the king of Babel brought him to Babel, and put him in the house of confinement until the day of his death.

And in the fifth month, on the tenth day of the month, that is the nineteenth year of King Nebukhadretstsar king of Babel, Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, came to Yerushalayim.

And he burned the house of יהוה, and the king's house, and all the houses of Yerushalayim, and every great house he burned with fire.

And all the walls of Yerushalayim all around, all the army of the Kasdim who were with the captain of the guard, tore them down.

And from the poor of the people, and the rest of the people who remained in the city, and the defectors who defected to the king of Babel, and the rest of the artisans, Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, carried them into exile.

And from the poor of the land, Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, left some to be vine-dressers and farmers.

And the bronze pillars that were in the house of יהוה, and the bases, and the bronze sea that was in the house of יהוה, the Kasdim broke them. And they carried all their bronze to Babel.

And the pots, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the basins, and the spoons, and all the bronze vessels with which they served, they took.

And the bowls, and the fire pans, and the basins, and the pots, and the lampstands, and the spoons, and the cups, and the golden bowls, and the silver bowls, Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, took.

The two pillars, the one sea, and the twelve bronze oxen that were under the bases, which King Shelomoh made for the house of יהוה – there was no weight to the bronze of all these vessels.

And the pillars, eighteen cubits was the height of the one pillar, and a cord of twelve cubits encircled it, and its thickness was four fingers; it was hollow.

And a bronze capital was upon it, and the height of the one capital was five cubits. And a network and pomegranates were on the capital all around, all bronze. And like these was the second pillar, and pomegranates.

And there were ninety-six pomegranates on the network; all the pomegranates were one hundred all around the network.

And Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, took Serayah, the chief priest, and Tsafanyah, the deputy priest, and the three gatekeepers.

And from the city he took one eunuch who was in charge of the men of war, and seven men of the king's council who were found in the city, and the scribe of the captain of the army who mustered the people of the land, and sixty men of the people of the land who were found within the city.

And Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, took them and brought them to the king of Babel at Riblah.

And the king of Babel struck them and put them to death at Riblah, in the land of Ḥamat. And Yehudah was exiled from his land.

This is the people whom Nebukhadretstsar exiled: in the seventh year, three thousand and twenty-three Yehudim.

In the eighteenth year of Nebukhadretstsar, from Yerushalayim, eight hundred and thirty-two people.

In the twenty-third year of Nebukhadretstsar, Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, exiled Yehudim, seven hundred and forty-five people. All the people were four thousand six hundred.

And it came to pass in the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Yehoyakhin king of Yehudah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-fifth day of the month, Evil-merodakh king of Babel, in the first year of his reign, lifted up the head of Yehoyakhin king of Yehudah. And he brought him out from the prison house.

And he spoke kindly to him, and gave him a seat above the seats of the kings who were with him in Babel.

And he changed his prison clothes, and he ate bread before him continually all the days of his life.

And his allowance, a continual allowance, was given to him from the king of Babel, a daily matter, day by day, until the day of his death, all the days of his life.
