The word which יהוה spoke to Yirmeyahu, saying:

Thus says יהוה, the Elohim of Yisra'el: Write for yourself all the words which I have spoken to you in a scroll.

For behold, days are coming, declares יהוה, and I will return the captivity of My people Yisra'el and Yehudah, says יהוה, and I will return them to the land which I gave to their fathers, and they will possess it.

And these are the words which יהוה spoke concerning Yisra'el and concerning Yehudah.

For thus says יהוה: A voice of terror we have heard, fear and no peace.

Ask now and see: if a male gives birth? Why do I see every man with his hands on his loins like a woman giving birth, and all faces turned to paleness?

Alas! For great is that day, there is none like it, and it is a time of distress for Ya'aqov, and from it he will be saved.

And it will be in that day, declares יהוה of Hosts, I will break your yoke from your neck, and I will snap your bonds, and strangers will no longer serve him.

And they will serve יהוה their Elohim, and David their king, whom I will raise up for them.

And you, do not fear, My servant Ya'aqov, declares יהוה, and do not be dismayed, Yisra'el; for behold, I am saving you from afar, and your offspring from the land of their captivity. And Ya'aqov will return and be at rest and be secure, and there will be no one to make him tremble.

For I am with you, declares יהוה, to save you; for I will make a complete end of all the nations where I have scattered you, but of you I will not make a complete end. And I will discipline you with justice, and I will by no means clear you.

For thus says יהוה: Your wound is incurable, your injury is severe.

There is no one to judge your case for healing; there are no remedies for you.

All your lovers have forgotten you; they do not seek you. For I have struck you with the blow of an enemy, with the discipline of a cruel one, because of the abundance of your iniquity; your sins were numerous.

Why do you cry out because of your injury? Your pain is incurable. Because of the abundance of your iniquity, your sins were numerous, I have done these things to you.

Therefore, all who devour you will be devoured, and all your adversaries, all of them will go into captivity. And those who plunder you will become plunder, and all who plunder you I will give for plunder.

For I will bring healing to you, and from your wounds I will heal you, declares יהוה, because they called you 'Outcast', 'Tsiyon, there is no one who seeks her'.

Thus says יהוה: Behold, I am returning the captivity of the tents of Ya'aqov, and I will have compassion on his dwellings. And a city will be rebuilt on its mound, and a palace will stand according to its custom.

And thanksgiving and the voice of those who make merry will go out from them. And I will multiply them, and they will not be diminished; and I will make them honored, and they will not be made small.

And his sons will be as in the past, and his assembly before Me will be established, and I will punish all who oppress him.

And his leader will be from him, and its ruler will go forth from its midst. And I will cause him to draw near, and he will approach Me. For who is this who has pledged his heart to approach Me? declares יהוה.

And you will be to Me for a people, and I will be to you for Elohim.

Behold, the storm of יהוה, a furious tempest, has gone forth, a tempest that will swirl down on the head of the wicked.

The fierce anger of יהוה will not turn back until He has performed and until He has accomplished the purposes of His heart. In the latter days you will understand this.
