Thus says יהוה: Go down to the house of the king of Yehudah and speak there this word.

And say, Hear the word of יהוה, king of Yehudah, sitting on the throne of David: You, and your servants, and your people who come in by these gates.

Thus says יהוה: Do justice and righteousness, and deliver the plundered from the hand of the oppressor, and the sojourner, the orphan, and the widow. Do not mistreat, do not rob, and do not shed innocent blood in this place.

For if you indeed do this word, then kings sitting on David's throne, riding in chariots and on horses, will come in by the gates of this house, he and his servants and his people.

But if you do not obey these words, by Me I swear, declares יהוה, this house will become a desolation.

For thus says יהוה concerning the house of the king of Yehudah: You are to Me like Gil'ad, the head of Lebanon. If I do not make you a wilderness, cities without inhabitants.

And I will consecrate destroyers against you, each man and his weapons, and they will cut down your choice cedars and cast them into the fire.

And many nations will pass by this city and say to each other, Why has יהוה done this to this great city?

And they will say, Because they abandoned the covenant of יהוה their Elohim and bowed down to other elohim and served them.

Do not weep for the dead, and do not mourn for him. Weep, weep for the one going away, because he will not return again and see the land of his birth.

For thus says יהוה concerning Shallum son of Yoshiyyahu, king of Yehudah, who reigned instead of Yoshiyyahu his father, who went out from this place: He will not return there again.

For in the place where they exiled him, there he will die, and he will not see this land again.

Woe to him who builds his house without righteousness and his upper rooms without justice, who works for his neighbor for free and does not give him his wages.

Who says, I will build myself a large house and spacious upper rooms, and he cuts out windows for himself, and it is paneled with cedar and painted with vermillion.

Will you reign because you compete with cedar? Did not your father eat and drink and do justice and righteousness? Then it was well with him.

He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well. Is this not knowing Me? declares יהוה.

For your eyes and your heart are not for anything but your profit, and for shedding innocent blood, and for oppression, and for wrongdoing.

Therefore, thus says יהוה concerning Yehoyaqim son of Yoshiyyahu, king of Yehudah: They will not mourn for him, 'Alas, my brother!' and 'Alas, my sister!' They will not mourn for him, 'Alas, my Adonai!' and 'Alas, his majesty!'

He will be buried with the burial of a donkey, dragged and thrown outside the gates of Yerushalayim.

Go up to Lebanon and cry out, and in Bashan raise your voice, and cry out from 'Avarim, for all your lovers are broken.

I spoke to you in your prosperity; you said, 'I will not listen.' This has been your way from your youth, for you have not obeyed My voice.

The wind will shepherd all your shepherds, and your lovers will go into captivity; then you will be ashamed and humiliated because of all your evil.

You who dwell in Lebanon, who nest among the cedars, how you will groan when pangs come upon you, like the pangs of a woman in labor!

As I live, declares יהוה, even if Conyahu son of Yehoyaqim, king of Yehudah, were the signet ring on My right hand, yet I would tear you off.

And I will give you into the hand of those seeking your life, and into the hand of those whose face you fear, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of the Kasdim.

And I will cast you out, and your mother who bore you, onto another land where you were not born, and there you will die.

But to the land for which they long to return, there they will not return.

Is this man Conyahu a despised, shattered vessel? Or a vessel in which there is no delight? Why were he and his offspring cast out and thrown onto a land they did not know?

O land, land, land, hear the word of יהוה.

Thus says יהוה: Write this man down as childless, a man who will not succeed in his days, for no one of his offspring will succeed, sitting on the throne of David and ruling anymore in Yehudah.
