Yehudah's sin is written with an iron pen, with a diamond point it is engraved on the tablet of their heart and on the horns of your altars.

As their sons remember their altars and their Asherah poles on every green tree, on the high hills.

My mountain in the field, all your treasures, I will give for plunder, your high places because of sin, in all your borders.

And you will let go, and from you, from your inheritance which I gave you, and I will make your enemies serve you in a land you do not know, because you have kindled a fire in my anger, it will burn forever.

Thus says יהוה: Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his arm and whose heart turns away from יהוה.

And he will be like a juniper in the desert, and he will not see when good comes, and he will dwell in parched places in the wilderness, a salt land and not inhabited.

Blessed is the man who trusts in יהוה, and יהוה will be his trust.

And he will be like a tree planted by water, and by the stream it sends out its roots, and it will not see when heat comes, and its leaves will be green, and in a year of drought it will not worry, and it will not cease from bearing fruit.

The heart is crooked more than all things, and it is desperately sick; who can know it?

I, יהוה, search the heart, I test the kidneys, and to give to each man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.

Like a partridge that gathers what it has not hatched, he who makes riches, and not by justice, in the middle of his days he will leave them, and at his end he will be a fool.

A throne of glory, exalted from the beginning, the place of our sanctuary.

Hope of Yisra'el, יהוה, all who forsake you will be put to shame, and those who turn away in the land will be written, because they have forsaken the spring of living waters, יהוה.

Heal me, יהוה, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved, for you are my praise.

Look, they say to me, 'Where is the word of יהוה? Let it come now.'

But I have not hurried from being a shepherd after you, nor have I desired the day of distress; you know what came out of my lips, it was before your face.

Do not be a terror to me; you are my refuge in the day of trouble.

Let my pursuers be put to shame, but let me not be put to shame; let them be terrified, but let me not be terrified; bring on them the day of trouble, and with a double destruction, break them.

Thus says יהוה to me: Go and stand in the Gate of the Children of the People, through which the kings of Yehudah enter and through which they go out, and in all the gates of Yerushalayim.

And you shall say to them: Hear the word of יהוה, kings of Yehudah, and all Yehudah, and all inhabitants of Yerushalayim, who enter through these gates.

Thus says יהוה: Take heed to yourselves, and do not carry a burden on the Sabbath day, and bring it through the gates of Yerushalayim.

And you shall not bring a burden out of your houses on the Sabbath day, nor do any work, but you shall hallow the Sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers.

But they did not listen, nor did they incline their ear, but they stiffened their neck, so as not to hear and not to receive instruction.

And it will be, if you listen to me, declares יהוה, not to bring a burden through the gates of this city on the Sabbath day, and to hallow the Sabbath day, not to do any work on it,

Then kings and princes shall enter through the gates of this city, sitting on the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they and their princes, the men of Yehudah, and the inhabitants of Yerushalayim, and this city shall dwell forever.

And they shall come from the cities of Yehudah and from the surroundings of Yerushalayim, and from the land of Binyamin, and from the lowlands, and from the mountains, and from the Negev, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and grain offerings, and frankincense, and bringing thank offerings to the house of יהוה.

But if you do not listen to me, to hallow the Sabbath day, and not to carry a burden and enter through the gates of Yerushalayim on the Sabbath day, then I will kindle a fire in its gates, and it will devour the palaces of Yerushalayim, and it will not be extinguished.
