Thus says יהוה: The heavens are my throne, and the earth is the footstool of my feet. What house is it that you will build for me? And what is the place of my rest?

And all these things my hand made, and all these things came to be, says יהוה. But to this I will look: to the humble and contrite in spirit, and the one who trembles at my word.

The one slaughtering an ox, the one killing a man; the one sacrificing a lamb, the one breaking the neck of a dog; the one offering a meal offering, the blood of a pig; the one remembering frankincense, the one blessing iniquity. Also, they chose their ways, and their detestable things their soul delighted in.

Also, I will choose their delusions, and their terrors I will bring to them, because I called, and no one answered; I spoke, and they did not hear. And they did evil in my eyes, and in what I did not desire, they chose.

Hear the word of יהוה, you who tremble at his word. Your brothers who hate you, who cast you out for my name's sake, said, 'Let יהוה be glorified,' and we will see your joy, but they will be shamed.

A sound of tumult from the city, a sound from the temple, a sound of יהוה repaying recompense to his enemies.

Before she travailed, she gave birth; before the pain came to her, she delivered a male.

Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Will a land be brought forth in one day? Or will a nation be born at once? For as soon as Tsiyon travailed, she also gave birth to her sons.

Will I bring to the point of birth and not cause birth? says יהוה. Will I who cause birth shut it? says your Elohim.

Rejoice with Yerushalayim, and be glad in her, all who love her. Be exceedingly joyful with her, all who mourn for her.

So that you may nurse and be satisfied from the breast of her consolations; so that you may suckle and be delighted from the abundance of her glory.

For thus says יהוה, 'Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the nations like a flowing stream. And you will nurse; you will be carried on the side, and on the knees you will be dandled.'

As a man whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you; and in Yerushalayim you will be comforted.

And you will see, and your heart will rejoice, and your bones will flourish like the new grass. And the hand of יהוה will be known to his servants, and he will be indignant toward his enemies.

For behold, יהוה will come with fire, and his chariots like the whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

For by fire יהוה will judge, and by his sword, all flesh. And the slain of יהוה will be many.

Those who sanctify themselves and purify themselves to go to the gardens, behind one in the midst, eating the flesh of the pig, and the abomination, and the mouse, together they shall be gathered, says יהוה.

And I, their deeds and their thoughts, am coming to gather all nations and tongues. And they will come and see my glory.

And I will set a sign among them. And I will send survivors from them to the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, those who draw the bow; to Tubal and Yavan, to the distant islands that have not heard my fame nor seen my glory. And they will declare my glory among the nations.

And they will bring all your brothers from all the nations as an offering to יהוה, on horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and on mules, and on swift steeds, to my holy mountain Yerushalayim, says יהוה, just as the sons of Yisra'el bring the offering in a clean vessel to the house of יהוה.

And also from them I will take for priests and for Levites, says יהוה.

For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I am making, stand before me, says יהוה, so shall your offspring and your name stand.

And it shall be, from month to month, and from Sabbath to Sabbath, all flesh shall come to bow down before me, says יהוה.

And they shall go out and look at the corpses of the men who transgressed against me. For their worm shall not die, and their fire shall not be quenched. And they shall be an object of horror to all flesh.
