Be silent to me, islands, and nations, let them renew strength. Let them approach, then let them speak. Together to judgment, let us draw near.

Who stirred up from the east? Righteousness calls him to his foot. He gives nations and kings before him. He makes them like dust, his sword like driven stubble, his bow.

He pursues them, he passes. Peace, his path with his feet, he does not come.

Islands saw and feared. Ends of the earth trembled. They drew near and came.

You will seek them, and you will not find them. The men of your contention will be as nothing, and as non-existent, the men of your war.

For I, יהוה, your Elohim, grasp your right hand. The one saying to you, 'Do not fear, I have helped you.'

Do not fear, worm Ya'aqov, men of Yisra'el. I have helped you, declares יהוה, and your redeemer, the Holy One of Yisra'el.

Look, I have made you a sharp threshing tool, new, with double edges. You will thresh mountains and crush them, and you will make hills like chaff.

You will winnow them, and the wind will carry them, and the storm will scatter them. But you will rejoice in יהוה, in the Holy One of Yisra'el you will boast.

The humble and the needy seek water, and there is none. Their tongue is dry with thirst. I, יהוה, will answer them. I, the Elohim of Yisra'el, will not forsake them.

I will open rivers on bare heights, and in the midst of ravines, I will make springs. I will make the desert a pool of water, and the dry land into outflows of water.

I will put in the desert cedar, acacia, and myrtle, and I will put oil trees in the wasteland. I will set pine, fir, and cypress together.

So that they may see and know, and may consider and understand together, that the hand of יהוה has done this, and the Holy One of Yisra'el has created it.

Bring your case, says יהוה. Present your arguments, says the King of Ya'aqov.

Let them present them and tell us what will happen. The former things, what are they? Tell us, and we will set our heart on them, and we will know their outcome. Or the coming things, make them known to us.

Tell the signs for the future, and we will know that you are elohim. Indeed, you will do good and do evil, and we will be astonished together.

Look, you are from nothing, and your work is from emptiness. Abomination chooses you.

Who told from the beginning, and we will know? And from before, and we will say, 'He is righteous.' Indeed, there is no one telling, indeed there is no one making known, indeed no one hearing your words.
