The desert and the dry land will rejoice, and the Arabah will be glad and bloom like the crocus.

It will bloom abundantly and rejoice, even with great joy and singing. The glory of the Lebanon will be given to it, the majesty of the Carmel and the Sharon. They will see the glory of יהוה, the majesty of our Elohim.

Strengthen the weak hands and make firm the trembling knees.

Say to those with fearful hearts, 'Be strong, do not fear. Behold, your Elohim will come with vengeance, with the recompense of Elohim. He will come and save you.'

Then the eyes of the blind will be opened, and the ears of the deaf will be unstopped.

Then the lame will leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute will sing. For waters will break forth in the desert, and streams in the Arabah.

The mirage will become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water. In the habitation of jackals, their resting place, will be grass with reeds and rushes.

And there will be a highway and a way, and it will be called the Holy Way. No unclean person will pass over it. But it will be for them. Whoever walks on the way, even fools, will not stray.

No lion will be there, nor will any ravenous beast go up on it. It will not be found there, but the redeemed will walk.

And the redeemed of יהוה will return and come to Tsiyon with singing, and everlasting joy will be on their heads. They will obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.
