The word which Yeshayahu son of Amots saw concerning Yehudah and Yerushalayim.

And it will be in the last of the days, established will be the mountain of the house of יהוה at the head of the mountains, and lifted up from the hills, and will flow to it all the nations.

And will go many peoples and will say, 'Come, and let us go up to the mountain of יהוה, to the house of the Elohim of Ya'aqov, and He will teach us from His ways, and we will walk in His paths.' For from Tsiyon will go forth instruction, and the word of יהוה from Yerushalayim.

And He will judge between the nations, and will reprove many peoples, and they will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, and they will not learn war anymore.

House of Ya'aqov, come, and let us walk in the light of יהוה.

For you have forsaken, O house of Ya'aqov, your people, for they are filled from the east, and are diviners like the Pelishtim, and with children of foreigners they are pleased.

And their land was filled with silver and gold, and there is no end to its treasures. And their land was filled with horses, and there is no end to its chariots.

And their land was filled with idols, to the work of his hands they bow, to that which his fingers made they bow.

And man will be humbled, and man will be brought low. And do not lift them up.

Enter into the rock, and hide in the dust, from the fear of יהוה and from the splendor of His majesty.

The eyes of arrogance of man will be humbled, and the loftiness of men will be brought low, and יהוה alone will be exalted in that day.

For there is a day for יהוה of hosts against every proud and lofty one, and against every lifted up and brought low one.

And against all the cedars of Lebanon, the high and the lifted up, and against all the oaks of Bashan.

And against all the high mountains, and against all the lifted up hills.

And against every high tower, and against every fortified wall.

And against all the ships of Tarshish, and against all the desirable vessels.

And the arrogance of man will be brought low, and the loftiness of men will be brought low, and יהוה alone will be exalted in that day.

And the idols will completely pass away.

And they will enter into the caves of rocks, and into the hollows of dust, from the fear of יהוה and from the splendor of His majesty, when He arises to shake the earth.

In that day, man will cast away his idols of silver and his idols of gold, which he made for himself to bow down to, to the moles and to the bats.

To enter into the crevices of the rocks and into the ledges of the cliffs, from the fear of יהוה and from the splendor of His majesty, when He arises to shake the earth.

Cease from man, in whose nostrils is breath, for in what is he to be accounted?
