And Elisha spoke to the woman whose son he had made alive, saying, 'Rise and you and your household go and dwell where you will dwell, for יהוה has called the famine, and it has also come to the land seven years.'

And the woman rose and did according to the word of the man of Elohim, and she and her household went and dwelt in the land of the Pelishtim seven years.

And it happened at the end of seven years that the woman returned from the land of the Pelishtim, and she went out to cry to the king for her house and for her field.

And the king was speaking to Gehazi, the attendant of the man of Elohim, saying, 'Tell me, please, all the great things that Elisha has done.'

And it happened, as he was telling the king how he had made the dead one alive, behold, the woman whose son he had made alive was crying to the king for her house and for her field. And Gehazi said, 'My Adonai, O king, this is the woman, and this is her son whom Elisha made alive.'

And the king asked the woman, and she told him. And the king gave her an officer, saying, 'Return all that belongs to her, and all the produce of the field from the day she left the land until now.'

And Elisha came to Damascus, and Ben-Hadad, king of Aram, was sick, and it was told to him, saying, 'The man of Elohim has come here.'

And the king said to Hazael, 'Take a gift in your hand, and go to meet the man of Elohim, and inquire of יהוה through him, saying, 'Will I recover from this sickness?''

And Hazael went to meet him, and took a gift in his hand, and all the good things of Damascus, a load of forty camels. And he came and stood before him, and said, 'Your servant Ben-Hadad, king of Aram, has sent me to you, saying, 'Will I recover from this sickness?''

And Elisha said to him, 'Go, say to him, 'You will surely live,' but יהוה has shown me that he will surely die.'

And he set his face and looked until shame, and the man of Elohim wept.

And Hazael said, 'Why is my Adonai weeping?' And he said, 'Because I know what you will do to the sons of Yisra'el: their fortresses you will set on fire, and their young men you will kill with the sword, and their little ones you will dash to pieces, and their pregnant women you will rip open.'

And Hazael said, 'What is your servant, this dog, that he should do this great thing?' And Elisha said, 'יהוה has shown me you as king over Aram.'

And he went from Elisha and came to his master, and he said to him, 'What did Elisha say to you?' And he said, 'He told me, 'You will surely live.''

And it happened the next day that he took the thick cloth and dipped it in water and spread it on his face, and he died. And Hazael reigned in his place.

And in the fifth year of Yoram, son of Ach'av, king of Yisra'el, and Yehoshafat, king of Yehudah, Yoram, son of Yehoshafat, king of Yehudah, reigned.

He was thirty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eight years in Yerushalayim.

And he walked in the way of the kings of Yisra'el, as the house of Ach'av had done, for the daughter of Ach'av was his wife, and he did evil in the eyes of יהוה.

But יהוה was unwilling to destroy Yehudah, for the sake of David his servant, as he had promised him to give him a lamp for his sons all the days.

In his days, Edom rebelled from under the hand of Yehudah, and they appointed a king over themselves.

And Yoram crossed over to Ts'e'irah, and all the chariots with him. And it happened, he rose up at night and struck down Edom who surrounded him, and the captains of the chariots, and the people fled to their tents.

And Edom rebelled from under the hand of Yehudah until this day. Then Libnah rebelled at that time.

And the rest of the deeds of Yoram, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Yehudah?

And Yoram lay down with his fathers and was buried with his fathers in the city of David. And Achazyahu his son reigned in his place.

In the twelfth year of Yoram, son of Ach'av, king of Yisra'el, Achazyahu, son of Yoram, king of Yehudah, began to reign.

Achazyahu was twenty-two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Yerushalayim. And his mother's name was Atalyahu, daughter of Omri, king of Yisra'el.

And he walked in the way of the house of Ach'av, and he did evil in the eyes of יהוה, like the house of Ach'av, for he was the son-in-law of the house of Ach'av.

And he went with Yoram, son of Ach'av, to war against Hazael, king of Aram, at Ramot-Gil'ad, and the Arameans struck down Yoram.

And King Yoram returned to be healed in Yizre'el from the wounds that the Arameans had inflicted on him at Ramah, when he fought against Hazael, king of Aram. And Achazyahu, son of Yoram, king of Yehudah, went down to see Yoram, son of Ach'av, in Yizre'el, because he was sick.
