And Yeḥizqiyah sent to all Yisra'el and Yehudah, and also wrote letters to Efrayim and Menasheh, to come to the House of יהוה in Yerushalayim, to make Pesach for יהוה Elohim of Yisra'el.

And the king and his officials and all the assembly in Yerushalayim decided to make Pesach in the second month.

For they could not make it at that time, because the priests had not consecrated themselves enough, and the people had not gathered in Yerushalayim.

And the matter was right in the eyes of the king and in the eyes of all the assembly.

And they established a matter to send a voice throughout all Yisra'el, from Be'er-Sheva even to Dan, to come to make Pesach for יהוה Elohim of Yisra'el in Yerushalayim, for they had not made it in great numbers as written.

And the runners went with the letters from the hand of the king and his officials throughout all Yisra'el and Yehudah, and according to the king's command, saying: 'Sons of Yisra'el, return to יהוה Elohim of Avraham, Yitsḥaq, and Yisra'el, and He will return to the remnant left to you from the hand of the kings of Ashshur.

And do not be like your fathers and like your brothers, who were unfaithful to יהוה Elohim of their fathers, and He gave them to desolation, as you see.

Now, do not harden your necks like your fathers; give a hand to יהוה, and come to His sanctuary, which He consecrated forever, and serve יהוה your Elohim, and He will turn from you His fierce anger.

For if you return to יהוה, your brothers and your children will have compassion before those who took them captive, and will return to this land, for יהוה your Elohim is gracious and merciful, and He will not turn His face from you if you return to Him.

And the runners went from city to city in the land of Efrayim and Menasheh, and even to Zevulun, and they were laughing at them and mocking them.

Only men from Asher and Menasheh and from Zevulun humbled themselves and came to Yerushalayim.

Also in Yehudah, the hand of Elohim was to give them one heart to do the command of the king and the officials by the word of יהוה.

And a great multitude gathered in Yerushalayim to make the Feast of Unleavened Bread in the second month, a very great assembly.

And they rose up and removed the altars that were in Yerushalayim, and all the incense stands they removed, and threw them into the Kidron valley.

And they slaughtered the Pesach on the fourteenth of the second month, and the priests and the Levites were ashamed, and consecrated themselves, and brought burnt offerings to the House of יהוה.

And they stood in their place according to their ordinance, according to the law of Mosheh, man of Elohim; the priests sprinkled the blood from the hand of the Levites.

For there were many in the assembly who had not consecrated themselves, and the Levites were responsible for the slaughtering of the Pesach for everyone unclean, to consecrate to יהוה.

For a large part of the people, many from Efrayim, Menasheh, Yissakhar, and Zevulun had not purified themselves, for they ate the Pesach not according to what is written. For Yeḥizqiyah prayed for them, saying: 'May יהוה the Good One atone for

Everyone who set his heart to seek Elohim, יהוה Elohim of his fathers, not according to the purification of the sanctuary.'

And יהוה heard Yeḥizqiyah and healed the people.

And the sons of Yisra'el who were found in Yerushalayim ate the Feast of Unleavened Bread for seven days with great joy, and praising יהוה day by day; the Levites and the priests with instruments of strength for יהוה.

And Yeḥizqiyah spoke to the heart of all the Levites who had good understanding for יהוה, and they ate the festival for seven days, sacrificing peace offerings and confessing to יהוה Elohim of their fathers.

And all the assembly decided to make another seven days, and they made seven days of joy.

For Yeḥizqiyah king of Yehudah gave to the assembly one thousand bulls and seven thousand sheep, and the officials gave to the assembly one thousand bulls and ten thousand sheep, and many priests consecrated themselves.

And all the assembly of Yehudah rejoiced, and the priests and the Levites, and all the assembly that came from Yisra'el, and the sojourners who came from the land of Yisra'el, and those dwelling in Yehudah.

And there was great joy in Yerushalayim, for since the days of Shelomoh son of David king of Yisra'el, there had not been the like in Yerushalayim.

And the priests, the Levites, rose up and blessed the people, and their voice was heard, and their prayer came to His holy dwelling place, to the heavens.
