And Daviyd gathered all the chiefs of Yisra'el, the chiefs of the tribes, and the chiefs of the divisions serving the king, and the chiefs of the thousands, and the chiefs of the hundreds, and the chiefs of all the property and possessions of the king and his sons, with the eunuchs, and the mighty men, and all the valiant warriors, to Yerushalayim.

And Daviyd the king stood on his feet and said, 'Hear me, my brothers and my people. I have it in my heart to build a house of rest for the Ark of the covenant of יהוה, and for the footstool of our Elohim, and I have prepared to build.'

'And Elohim said to me, 'You shall not build a house for My Name, because you are a man of wars and have shed blood.'

'And יהוה Elohim of Yisra'el chose me from all my father's house to be king over Yisra'el forever. For in Yehudah He chose a leader, and in the house of Yehudah, my father's house, and among my father's sons, He favored me to reign over all Yisra'el.'

'And from all my sons, for יהוה has given me many sons, He chose Shlomoh my son to sit on the throne of the kingdom of יהוה over Yisra'el.'

'And He said to me, 'Shlomoh your son, he shall build My house and My courtyards, for I have chosen him to be a son to Me, and I will be a father to him.'

'And I will establish his kingdom forever, if he is strong to do My commandments and My judgments, as this day.'

'And now, in the sight of all Yisra'el, the assembly of יהוה, and in the ears of our Elohim, observe and seek all the commandments of יהוה your Elohim, so that you may inherit this good land and bequeath it to your sons after you forever.'

'And you, Shlomoh my son, know the Elohim of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and with a willing soul, for יהוה searches all hearts, and understands every inclination of thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you, and if you forsake Him, He will abandon you forever.'

'See now, that יהוה has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary. Be strong and do it.'

'And Daviyd gave to Shlomoh his son the plan for the vestibule, and its houses, and its treasuries, and its upper rooms, and its inner chambers, and the place for the atonement cover.'

'And the plan for all that was with him by the Spirit, for the courtyards of the house of יהוה, and for all the surrounding chambers, for the storehouses of the house of Elohim, and for the storehouses of the holy things.'

'And for the divisions of the priests and the Levites, and for all the work of the service of the house of יהוה, and for all the vessels of service of the house of יהוה.'

'For gold by weight, for gold for all the vessels of service and work, and for silver by weight, for all the vessels of service and work.'

'And the weight for the golden lampstands and their lamps, gold by weight for each lampstand and its lamps, and for the silver lampstands by weight for each lampstand and its lamps, according to the service of each lampstand.'

'And the gold by weight for the tables of the arrangement, for each table, and silver for the tables of silver.'

'And the forks, and the basins, and the pitchers of pure gold, and for the golden bowls by weight for each bowl, and for the silver bowls by weight for each bowl.'

'And for the altar of incense, refined gold by weight, and for the model of the chariot, the cherubim of gold, spreading out and covering over the Ark of the covenant of יהוה.'

'All this, in writing, from the hand of יהוה, He made me understand all the works of the plan.'

'And Daviyd said to Shlomoh his son, 'Be strong and courageous, and do it. Do not fear and do not be dismayed, for יהוה Elohim, my Elohim, is with you. He will not let you go and will not forsake you until all the work of the service of the house of יהוה is finished.'

'And behold, the divisions of the priests and the Levites are for all the service of the house of Elohim, and with you in all the work, for every willing person in skill for every service, and the chiefs and all the people are for all your words.'
