For the sons of Efrayim, Hoshea son of 'Azyahu; for the half-tribe of Menashsheh, Yo'el son of Pedayahu.

And over the sheep was Yaziz the Hagri. All these were officers of the possessions of King David.

And Yonathan, David's uncle, was a counselor, a man of understanding, and a scribe; and Yeḥi'el son of Ḥakhmoni was with the king's sons.

And Aḥitophel was counselor to the king, and Ḥushai the Arkite was the king's companion.

And after Aḥitophel was Yehoyada son of Benayahu, and Evyathar; and the army officer for the king was Yo'av.
