And for Meshelemiah, sons: Zechariah the firstborn, Jeiel the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth.

Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, Eliyoeinai the seventh.

And for Obed-Edom, sons: Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sachar the fourth, and Nethaneel the fifth.

Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, Peulthai the eighth, because Elohim blessed him.

And for Shemaiah his son, sons were born, who ruled their father's house, for they were mighty warriors.

The sons of Shemaiah: Othni, and Rephael, and Obed-Edom, his brothers, mighty men; Elihu and Shemakiya.

All these were from the sons of Obed-Edom, and their sons and their brothers, mighty men for service, sixty-two for Obed-Edom.

To these were the divisions of the gatekeepers, to the chiefs of the warriors, the watches, corresponding to their brothers, to serve in the house of יהוה.

And they cast lots, the small and the great alike, according to their fathers' house, for each gate.

And the lot fell eastward to Shelemiah, and to Zechariah his son, a wise counselor; they cast lots, and his lot came out northward.

To Shuppim and Hosa, westward, with the gate of Shallcheth, on the ascent of the highway, watch corresponding to watch.

He and his brothers were over all the treasuries of the holy things, which King David, and the heads of the fathers' houses, the officers of thousands and hundreds, and the officers of the army, had consecrated.

From the wars and from the spoils they consecrated them to strengthen the house of יהוה.

And all that Shemu'el the seer, and Sha'ul son of Kish, and Abner son of Ner, and Joab son of Zeruiah, consecrated; all who consecrated were under Shelomith and his brothers.

For the Izharites, Kenaniah and his sons were for the outside work for Yisra'el, as officers and judges.

For the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brothers, mighty men, one thousand seven hundred, were in charge of Yisra'el on the other side of the Jordan westward, for all the work of יהוה and for the service of the king.

For the Hebronites, Jeriah was chief; for the Hebronites, according to their generations, according to their fathers' houses, in the fortieth year of David's reign they were sought, and mighty men were found among them in Jaezer of Gil'ad.

And his brothers, mighty men, two thousand seven hundred, the heads of the fathers' houses; King David appointed them over the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, for every matter of Elohim and for the king's matter.
