And David said, This is the house of יהוה Elohim, and this is an altar of burnt offering for Yisra'el.

And David said, To gather the foreigners who are in the land of Yisra'el, and to appoint stonecutters to cut dressed stones to build the house of Elohim.

And much iron for the nails for the doors of the gates, and for the clasps, David prepared, and much bronze, beyond weight.

And cedar trees without number, for the Sidonians and the Tyrians brought much cedar wood to David.

And David said, Shelomoh my son is young and tender, and the house is to be built for יהוה, to be exceedingly magnificent, for a name and for glory in all lands. I will prepare for him now. And David prepared much before his death.

And he called for Shelomoh his son, and commanded him to build a house for יהוה Elohei Yisra'el.

And David said to Shelomoh, my son, it was in my heart to build a house for the name of יהוה Elohai.

And the word of יהוה came to me, saying, You have shed much blood, and you have made great wars. You shall not build a house for My name, because you have shed much blood on the earth before Me.

Behold, a son will be born to you, he will be a man of rest, and I will give him rest from all his enemies all around. For Shelomoh will be his name, and peace and quiet I will give to Yisra'el in his days.

He shall build a house for My name, and he will be to Me a son, and I will be to him a father, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Yisra'el forever.

Now, my son, may יהוה be with you, and may you succeed, and build the house of יהוה Eloheikha, just as He spoke concerning you.

Only may יהוה give you wisdom and understanding, and may He command you concerning Yisra'el, and to keep the law of יהוה Eloheikha.

Then you will succeed if you keep to do the statutes and the judgments which יהוה commanded Mosheh concerning Yisra'el. Be strong and courageous. Do not fear, and do not be dismayed.

And behold, in my affliction, I have prepared for the house of יהוה one hundred thousand talents of gold, and one thousand thousand talents of silver, and for the bronze and for the iron, there is no weight, for it was much. And wood and stones I have prepared, and you shall add to them.

And with you are many workers, stonecutters and craftsmen of stone and wood, and every skilled person in every craft.

For the gold, for the silver, and for the bronze, and for the iron, there is no number. Arise and do, and may יהוה be with you.

And David commanded all the princes of Yisra'el to help Shelomoh his son.

Is not יהוה Eloheikhem with you, and has He given you rest on all sides? For He has given the inhabitants of the land into my hand, and the land has been subdued before יהוה and before His people.

Now set your heart and your soul to seek יהוה Eloheikhem. And arise and build the sanctuary of יהוה Elohim, to bring the ark of the covenant of יהוה and the holy vessels of Elohim to the house being built for the name of יהוה.
