Hear this, you priests, and listen, house of Yisra'el, and give ear, house of the king, because judgment is for you. For you have been a snare to Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.

And Efrayim saw his sickness, and Yehudah saw his wound; and Efrayim went to Assyria, and sent to a king who could contend, but he cannot heal you, nor will the wound heal from you.

For I am like a lion to Efrayim, and like a young lion to the house of Yehudah; I, yes I, will tear and go away; I will carry off, and there will be no rescuer.

I will go, I will return to my place until they acknowledge their guilt and seek my face; in their distress they will earnestly seek me.
