And the number of the sons of Yisra'el will be like the sand of the sea, which will not be measured and will not be counted. And it will be, in the place where it is said to them, 'You are not my people,' it will be said to them, 'Sons of the living Elohim.'

And the sons of Yehudah and the sons of Yisra'el will be gathered together, and they will appoint for themselves one head, and they will go up from the land, for great is the day of Yizre'el.

Say to your brothers, 'My people,' and to your sisters, 'She who has received mercy.'

Contend with your mother, contend, for she is not my wife, and I am not her husband. And let her remove her whoredoms from her face, and her adulteries from between her breasts.

Lest I strip her naked, and set her up like the day of her birth, and make her like a desert, and set her like a dry land, and kill her with thirst.

And I will not have mercy on her children, for they are children of whoredom.

For their mother has played the harlot; she who conceived them has acted shamefully, for she said, 'I will go after my lovers, who give me my bread and my water, my wool and my flax, my oil and my drink.'

Therefore, behold, I will hedge your way with thorns, and I will build a wall against her, and she will not find her paths.

And she will chase after her lovers, but will not overtake them; and she will seek them, but will not find them. And she will say, 'I will go and return to my first husband, for it was better for me then than now.'

And she did not know that I gave her the grain, and the new wine, and the oil, and I multiplied silver for her, and gold they made for the Ba'al.

Therefore, I will return and take back my grain in its time, and my new wine in its season, and I will snatch away my wool and my flax, to cover her nakedness.

And now I will reveal her impurity to the eyes of her lovers, and no one will rescue her from my hand.

And I will put an end to all her rejoicing, her festivals, her new moons, and her Sabbaths, and all her appointed times.

And I will lay waste her vine and her fig tree, of which she said, 'These are my wages, which my lovers have given me.' And I will make them a forest, and the wild animals of the field will eat them.

And I will punish her for the days of the Ba'alim, to whom she offered incense, and adorned herself with her ring and her jewelry, and went after her lovers, and forgot me, declares יהוה.

Therefore, behold, I will entice her, and lead her into the wilderness, and speak to her heart.

And I will give her her vineyards from there, and the Valley of Achor as a doorway of hope. And she will respond there, like in the days of her youth, and like the day she came up from the land of Mitsrayim.

And it will be on that day, declares יהוה, you will call me 'my husband,' and you will no longer call me 'my Ba'al.'

And I will remove the names of the Ba'alim from her mouth, and they will no longer be remembered by their names.

And I will make a covenant for them on that day with the wild animals of the field, and with the birds of the sky, and with the creeping things of the ground. And I will break the bow and the sword and war from the land, and I will cause them to lie down securely.

And I will betroth you to me forever; yes, I will betroth you to me with righteousness and with justice and with lovingkindness and with mercy.

And I will betroth you to me with faithfulness, and you will know יהוה.

And it will be on that day, I will answer, declares יהוה, I will answer the heavens, and they will answer the earth.

And the earth will answer the grain, and the new wine, and the oil, and they will answer Yizre'el.

And I will sow her for myself in the land, and I will have mercy on 'Not-Mercied,' and I will say to 'Not-My-People,' 'You are my people,' and he will say, 'My Elohim.'
