Then Elohim blessed Noaḥ and his sons, and said to them, 'Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth.'

And your fear and your dread will be upon every living thing of the earth, and upon every flying creature of the sky, upon all that moves on the ground, and upon all the fish of the sea; into your hand they are given.

Every moving thing that lives will be for food to you; like the green plant, I have given you all.

Only flesh with its life, its blood, you shall not eat.

And indeed, your blood for your lives I will require; from the hand of every living thing I will require it, and from the hand of man, from the hand of each his brother, I will require the life of man.

Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man his blood will be shed, for in the image of Elohim he made man.

And you, be fruitful and multiply; swarm on the earth and multiply in it.'

Then Elohim spoke to Noaḥ and to his sons with him, saying:

'And I, behold, I am establishing my covenant with you and with your offspring after you.'

'And with every living creature that is with you, of the bird, of the beast, and of every living thing of the earth with you, from all that came out of the ark, to every living thing of the earth.'

'And I will establish my covenant with you, and no flesh will be cut off anymore by the waters of the flood, and there will no longer be a flood to destroy the earth.'

'Then Elohim said, 'This is the sign of the covenant that I am giving between me and you and between every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations.'

'My bow I have set in the cloud, and it will be for a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.'

'And it will be, when I bring a cloud over the earth, then the bow will appear in the cloud.'

'And I will remember my covenant that is between me and you and between every living creature in all flesh, and the waters will no longer be a flood to destroy all flesh.'

'And the bow will be in the cloud, and I will see it, to remember the perpetual covenant between Elohim and between every living creature in all flesh that is on the earth.'

'Then Elohim said to Noaḥ, 'This is the sign of the covenant that I have established between me and all flesh that is on the earth.''

'And the sons of Noaḥ who came out of the ark were Shem and Ḥam and Yafet, and Ḥam was the father of Kənaʻan.'

'These three were the sons of Noaḥ, and from these the whole earth was spread.'

'Then Noaḥ, a man of the soil, began, and he planted a vineyard.'

'And he drank of the wine and became drunk, and he uncovered himself in the midst of his tent.'

'Then Ḥam, the father of Kənaʻan, saw the nakedness of his father, and he told his two brothers outside.'

'Then Shem and Yafet took the garment, and they laid it upon both their shoulders, and they walked backward and covered the nakedness of their father, and their faces were backward, and their father's nakedness they did not see.'

'Then Noaḥ awoke from his wine and knew what his youngest son had done to him.'

'Then he said, 'Cursed be Kənaʻan; a servant of servants he will be to his brothers.''

'Then he said, 'Blessed be יהוה, Elohim of Shem, and let Kənaʻan be a servant to them.''

'May Elohim enlarge Yafet, and may he dwell in the tents of Shem, and let Kənaʻan be a servant to them.''

'Then Noaḥ lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years.'

'And all the days of Noaḥ were nine hundred and fifty years, and he died.'
