The sons of Yefet: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Yavan, and Tubal, and Meshek, and Tiras.

And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

And the sons of Yavan: Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.

From these were separated the islands of the nations in their lands, each according to his language, according to their clans, in their nations.

And the sons of Ham: Kush, and Mitsrayim, and Put, and Kena'an.

And the sons of Kush: Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Ra'amah, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Ra'amah: Sheba, and Dedan.

And Kush fathered Nimrod; he began to be a mighty man on the earth.

He was a mighty hunter before יהוה. Because of this it is said, 'Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before יהוה.'

And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Akkad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

From this land he went out to Asshur, and built Nineveh, and Rehoboth-Ir, and Calah.

And Resen between Nineveh and Calah; this is the great city.

And Mitsrayim fathered Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim.

And Pathrusim, and Kasluhim, from whom came the Pelishtim, and Caphtorim.

And Kena'an fathered Sidon his firstborn, and Heth.

And the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite.

And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite.

And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite. And afterward the clans of the Kena'ani were scattered.

And the boundary of the Kena'ani was from Sidon, going toward Gerar, as far as Gaza; going toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and Admah and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha.

These are the sons of Ham, according to their clans, according to their languages, in their lands, in their nations.

And to Shem also, the father of all the sons of Eber, the elder brother of Yefet, children were born.

The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram.

And the sons of Aram: Uz, and Hul, and Geter, and Mash.

And Arpachshad fathered Shelah, and Shelah fathered Eber.

And to Eber two sons were born; the name of the one was Peleg, for in his days the land was divided, and the name of his brother was Yoktan.

And Yoktan fathered Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah.

And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah.

And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba.

And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these are the sons of Yoktan.

And their dwelling was from Mesha, going toward Sephar, the mountain of the east.

These are the sons of Shem, according to their clans, according to their languages, in their lands, according to their nations.

These are the clans of the sons of Noaḥ, according to their generations, in their nations. And from these the nations were separated on the earth after the flood.
