And יהוה said to Noaḥ, 'Come, you and all your household, into the ark, because you I have seen righteous before Me in this generation.'

From every clean animal, take for yourself seven of each, male and female; and from the animal that is not clean, two, male and female.

Also from the birds of the sky, seven of each, male and female, to keep seed alive on the face of all the earth.

Because after yet seven days, I am causing rain on the earth forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe out every living thing that I have made from upon the face of the ground.'

And Noaḥ did according to all that יהוה commanded him.

And Noaḥ was six hundred years old, and the flood was water on the earth.

And Noaḥ came, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.

From the clean animal, and from the animal that is not clean, and from the bird, and from everything that creeps on the ground,

Two by two, they came to Noaḥ into the ark, male and female, as Elohim commanded Noaḥ.

And it happened after seven days, and the waters of the flood were on the earth.

In the six hundredth year of Noaḥ's life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on this day all the fountains of the great deep were broken open, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened.

And the rain was on the earth forty days and forty nights.

On this very day, Noaḥ came, and Shem, and Ham, and Yefet, Noaḥ's sons, and Noaḥ's wife, and his sons' three wives with them, into the ark.

They, and every animal according to its kind, and every livestock according to its kind, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth according to its kind, and every bird according to its kind, every winged creature.

And they came to Noaḥ into the ark, two by two, from all flesh in which is the breath of life.

And those coming, male and female, from all flesh, came as Elohim commanded him, and יהוה shut it behind him.

And the flood was forty days on the earth, and the waters increased and lifted up the ark, and it floated up from the earth.

And the waters prevailed and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark went on the surface of the waters.

And the waters prevailed exceedingly on the earth, and all the high mountains that were under all the heavens were covered.

Fifteen cubits upward the waters prevailed, and the mountains were covered.

And all flesh died that crept on the earth, the bird, the livestock, the animal, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and every human.

Everything in which was the breath of life in its nostrils, from everything on dry land, died.

And He wiped out every living thing that was on the face of the ground, from human to livestock, to creeping things, and to birds of the sky, and they were wiped out from the earth. And only Noaḥ remained, and what was with him in the ark.

And the waters prevailed on the earth one hundred and fifty days.
