And it came to pass, when Adam began to multiply on the face of the ground, and daughters were born to them.

And the sons of Elohim saw the daughters of Adam, that they were good, and they took to themselves wives from all whom they chose.

And יהוה said, My Spirit shall not strive in Adam forever, because he is also flesh, and his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of Elohim came to the daughters of Adam, and they bore children to them; they were the mighty ones who were from of old, men of renown.

And יהוה saw that the wickedness of Adam was great on the earth, and every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the day.

And יהוה regretted that he had made Adam on the earth, and he grieved in his heart.

And יהוה said, I will blot out Adam whom I have created from the face of the ground, from man to beast, to creeping thing, and to bird of the heavens, for I regret that I have made them.

But Noaḥ found favor in the eyes of יהוה.

These are the generations of Noaḥ. Noaḥ was a righteous man, blameless among his generations; Noaḥ walked with Elohim.

And Noaḥ fathered three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

And the earth was corrupt before Elohim, and the earth was filled with violence.

And Elohim saw the earth, and behold, it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted its way on the earth.

And Elohim said to Noaḥ, The end of all flesh has come before me, for the earth is filled with violence because of them, and behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

Make for yourself an ark of gopher wood; make nests in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch.

And this is how you shall make it: three hundred cubits shall be the length of the ark, fifty cubits its width, and thirty cubits its height.

A window you shall make for the ark, and to a cubit you shall finish it from above, and the door of the ark you shall place on its side; lower, second, and third levels you shall make it.

And I, behold, I am bringing a flood of waters upon the earth to destroy all flesh in which is the breath of life from under the heavens; everything that is on the earth shall perish.

And I will establish my covenant with you, and you shall enter the ark, you, and your sons, and your wife, and your sons' wives with you.

And of all living things, of all flesh, two of each you shall bring into the ark to keep alive with you; male and female they shall be.

From the birds according to their kinds, and from the beasts according to their kinds, from every creeping thing of the ground according to its kind, two of each shall come to you to keep alive.

And you, take for yourself of all food that is eaten, and gather it to yourself, and it shall be for you and for them for food.

And Noaḥ did according to all that Elohim commanded him; so he did.
