This is the book of generations of Adam. On the day Elohim created Adam, in the likeness of Elohim He made him.

Male and female He created them, and He blessed them, and He called their name Adam on the day they were created.

And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and he fathered in his likeness, according to his image, and he called his name Shét.

And the days of Adam, after he fathered Shét, were eight hundred years, and he fathered sons and daughters.

And all the days of Adam, which he lived, were nine hundred and thirty years, and he died.

And Shét lived one hundred and five years, and he fathered Enosh.

And Shét lived, after he fathered Enosh, eight hundred and seven years, and he fathered sons and daughters.

And all the days of Shét were nine hundred and twelve years, and he died.

And Enosh lived ninety years, and he fathered Qenan.

And Enosh lived, after he fathered Qenan, eight hundred and fifteen years, and he fathered sons and daughters.

And all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years, and he died.

And Qenan lived seventy years, and he fathered Mahalal'el.

And Qenan lived, after he fathered Mahalal'el, eight hundred and forty years, and he fathered sons and daughters.

And all the days of Qenan were nine hundred and ten years, and he died.

And Mahalal'el lived sixty-five years, and he fathered Yered.

And Mahalal'el lived, after he fathered Yered, eight hundred and thirty years, and he fathered sons and daughters.

And all the days of Mahalal'el were eight hundred and ninety-five years, and he died.

And Yered lived one hundred and sixty-two years, and he fathered Ḥanokh.

And Yered lived, after he fathered Ḥanokh, eight hundred years, and he fathered sons and daughters.

And all the days of Yered were nine hundred and sixty-two years, and he died.

And Ḥanokh lived sixty-five years, and he fathered Metushelach.

And Ḥanokh walked with Elohim, after he fathered Metushelach, three hundred years, and he fathered sons and daughters.

And all the days of Ḥanokh were three hundred and sixty-five years.

And Ḥanokh walked with Elohim, and he was not, because Elohim took him.

And Metushelach lived one hundred and eighty-seven years, and he fathered Lamekh.

And Metushelach lived, after he fathered Lamekh, seven hundred and eighty-two years, and he fathered sons and daughters.

And all the days of Metushelach were nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and he died.

And Lamekh lived one hundred and eighty-two years, and he fathered a son.

And he called his name Noaḥ, saying, This one will comfort us from our work and from the toil of our hands, from the ground which יהוה has cursed.

And Lamekh lived, after he fathered Noaḥ, five hundred and ninety-five years, and he fathered sons and daughters.

And all the days of Lamekh were seven hundred and seventy-seven years, and he died.

And Noaḥ was five hundred years old, and Noaḥ fathered Shem, Ḥam, and Yéfet.
