And it came to pass at the end of two years, and Par'oh was dreaming, and behold, standing on the Nile.

And behold, from the Nile were ascending seven cows, beautiful of appearance and fat of flesh, and they were grazing in the reed grass.

And behold, seven other cows were ascending after them from the Nile, ugly of appearance and thin of flesh, and they stood by the cows on the bank of the Nile.

And the ugly of appearance and thin of flesh cows ate the seven beautiful of appearance and fat cows, and Par'oh awoke.

And he slept and dreamed a second time, and behold, seven ears of grain were growing on one stalk, plump and good.

And behold, seven ears of grain, thin and scorched by the east wind, were sprouting after them.

And the thin ears of grain swallowed the seven plump and full ears of grain, and Par'oh awoke, and behold, it was a dream.

And it was in the morning, and his spirit was troubled, and he sent and called all the magicians of Mitsrayim and all its wise men, and Par'oh told them his dream, and there was no one to interpret them for Par'oh.

And the chief of the cupbearers spoke to Par'oh, saying, 'My transgressions I am remembering today.'

'Par'oh was angry with his servants, and he put me in custody in the house of the chief of the cooks, me and the chief of the bakers.'

'And we dreamed a dream one night, I and he; each according to the interpretation of his dream we dreamed.'

'And there with us was a young Hebrew man, a servant to the chief of the cooks, and we told him, and he interpreted our dreams for us; each according to his dream he interpreted.'

'And it happened, as he interpreted for us, so it was: me he restored to my position, and him he hanged.'

'And Par'oh sent and called Yosef, and they rushed him from the pit, and he shaved and changed his garments, and he came to Par'oh.'

'And Par'oh said to Yosef, 'I dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter for it; and I heard about you, saying, you hear a dream to interpret it.''

'And Yosef answered Par'oh, saying, 'Apart from me, Elohim will answer Par'oh's well-being.''

'And Par'oh spoke to Yosef, 'In my dream, behold, I was standing on the bank of the Nile.'

'And behold, from the Nile were ascending seven cows, fat of flesh and beautiful of form, and they were grazing in the reed grass.'

'And behold, seven other cows were ascending after them, very gaunt and ugly of form, and thin of flesh; I have not seen the like in all the land of Mitsrayim for badness.'

'And the thin and ugly cows ate the seven first fat cows.'

'And they came into their insides, and it was not known that they had come into their insides, and their appearance was ugly, as in the beginning; and I awoke.'

'And I saw in my dream, and behold, seven ears of grain were growing on one stalk, full and good.'

'And behold, seven ears of grain, shriveled, thin, scorched by the east wind, were sprouting after them.'

'And the thin ears of grain swallowed the seven good ears of grain, and I said to the magicians, and there was no one to tell me.'

'And Yosef said to Par'oh, 'Par'oh's dream is one; what Elohim is doing, he has told Par'oh.''

'The seven good cows are seven years, and the seven good ears of grain are seven years; it is one dream.'

'And the seven thin and ugly cows ascending after them are seven years, and the seven empty ears of grain, scorched by the east wind, will be seven years of famine.'

'This is the thing which I spoke to Par'oh; what Elohim is doing, he has shown to Par'oh.'

'Behold, seven years are coming, great abundance in all the land of Mitsrayim.'

'And seven years of famine will arise after them, and all the abundance will be forgotten in the land of Mitsrayim, and the famine will consume the land.'

'And the abundance will not be known in the land because of that famine afterward, for it is very severe.'

'And concerning the dream being repeated to Par'oh twice, the matter is sure from Elohim, and Elohim is hastening to do it.'

'And now, let Par'oh look for a man discerning and wise, and set him over the land of Mitsrayim.'

'Let Par'oh do this and appoint overseers over the land, and take a fifth of the land of Mitsrayim during the seven years of abundance.'

'And let them gather all the food of these coming good years, and let them store grain under the authority of Par'oh, food in the cities, and let them guard it.'

'And the food will be for safekeeping for the land for the seven years of famine which will be in the land of Mitsrayim, and the land will not be cut off by the famine.'

'And the thing was good in the eyes of Par'oh and in the eyes of all his servants.'

'And Par'oh said to his servants, 'Can we find a man like this, in whom is the spirit of Elohim?'

'And Par'oh said to Yosef, 'After Elohim has made all this known to you, there is no one discerning and wise like you.'

'You shall be over my house, and according to your word all my people will obey; only the throne will I be greater than you.'

And Par'oh said to Yosef, 'Behold, I have set you over all the land of Mitsrayim.'

And Par'oh removed his signet ring from his hand and put it on Yosef's hand, and he clothed him in garments of fine linen, and he put the gold chain on his neck.

And he rode him in the second chariot that was his, and they proclaimed before him, 'Bow the knee!' and he set him over all the land of Mitsrayim.

And Par'oh said to Yosef, 'I am Par'oh, and without you, no man will lift his hand or his foot in all the land of Mitsrayim.'

And Par'oh called Yosef's name Tsafnat-Paneaḥ, and he gave him Asenat, daughter of Poti-Pera, priest of On, as a wife, and Yosef went out over the land of Mitsrayim.

And Yosef was thirty years old when he stood before Par'oh, king of Mitsrayim, and Yosef went out from before Par'oh and went through all the land of Mitsrayim.

And the land produced in the seven years of abundance in heaps.

And he gathered all the food of the seven years that were in the land of Mitsrayim, and he put food in the cities; the food of the fields of the city, which were around it, he put inside it.

And Yosef stored grain like the sand of the sea, very much, until he stopped counting, for there was no number.

And to Yosef were born two sons before the year of famine came, whom Asenat, daughter of Poti-Pera, priest of On, bore to him.

And Yosef called the name of the firstborn Manasseh, because Elohim has made me forget all my toil and all my father's house.

And the name of the second he called Efrayim, because Elohim has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction.

And the seven years of abundance that were in the land of Mitsrayim came to an end.

And the seven years of famine began to come, just as Yosef had said, and there was famine in all the lands, and in all the land of Mitsrayim there was bread.

And all the land of Mitsrayim suffered from hunger, and the people cried out to Par'oh for bread, and Par'oh said to all of Mitsrayim, 'Go to Yosef; whatever he says to you, do.'

And the famine was over the face of all the land, and Yosef opened all that was in them, and he sold to the Mitsrayim, and the famine strengthened in the land of Mitsrayim.

And all the land came to Mitsrayim to buy from Yosef, because the famine was severe in all the land.
