And it happened after these matters, the cupbearers of the king of Mitsrayim and the baker sinned against their master, the king of Mitsrayim.

And Par‘oh became angry with his two officials, with the chief of the cupbearers and with the chief of the bakers.

And he put them in custody in the house of the chief of the executioners, into the prison, the place where Yosef was imprisoned there.

And the chief of the executioners appointed Yosef with them, and he served them, and they were days in custody.

And they both dreamed a dream, each man his dream, on one night, each according to the interpretation of his dream, the cupbearer and the baker who belonged to the king of Mitsrayim, who were imprisoned in the prison.

And Yosef came to them in the morning, and he saw them, and behold, they were troubled.

And he asked the officials of Par‘oh who were with him in custody in the house of his master, saying, 'Why are your faces sad today?'

And they said to him, 'We dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter for it.' And Yosef said to them, 'Are not interpretations from Elohim? Tell me, please.'

And the chief of the cupbearers told his dream to Yosef, and he said to him, 'In my dream, and behold, a vine was before me.'

And on the vine were three branches, and it was as if budding, its blossoms came out, its clusters ripened, grapes.

And Par‘oh's cup was in my hand, and I took the grapes, and I squeezed them into Par‘oh's cup, and I gave the cup into Par‘oh's hand.

And Yosef said to him, 'This is its interpretation: The three branches are three days.'

Within three days, Par‘oh will lift up your head, and restore you to your position, and you will give Par‘oh's cup into his hand, according to the first judgment when you were his cupbearer.

But if you remember me with you when it goes well for you, and please do kindness with me, and mention me to Par‘oh, and bring me out of this house.

For I was indeed stolen from the land of the Hebrews, and also here I have done nothing for which they put me in the pit.'

And the chief of the bakers saw that the interpretation was good, and he said to Yosef, 'Also I, in my dream, and behold, three baskets of white bread were on my head.'

And in the top basket were all kinds of food for Par‘oh, baked goods, and the birds were eating them from the basket, from upon my head.'

And Yosef answered and said, 'This is its interpretation: The three baskets are three days.'

Within three days, Par‘oh will lift up your head from upon you, and will hang you on a tree, and the birds will eat your flesh from upon you.'

And it happened on the third day, the birthday of Par‘oh, and he made a feast for all his servants, and he lifted up the head of the chief of the cupbearers and the head of the chief of the bakers among his servants.

And he restored the chief of the cupbearers to his cupbearing, and he gave the cup into the hand of Par‘oh.

And the chief of the bakers he hanged, just as Yosef interpreted for them.

And the chief of the cupbearers did not remember Yosef, and he forgot him.
