And Avraham again took a wife, and her name was Ketura.

And she bore to him Zimran, and Yokshan, and Medan, and Midyan, and Yishbak, and Shuah.

And Yokshan bore Sheba and Dedan. And the sons of Dedan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Le'umim.

And the sons of Midyan were Eifah, and Efer, and Ḥanokh, and Avida, and Elda'ah. All these were the sons of Ketura.

And Avraham gave all that was his to Yitsḥaq.

But to the sons of the concubines that Avraham had, Avraham gave gifts, and he sent them away from Yitsḥaq his son, while he was still alive, eastward, to the land of the east.

And these are the days of the years of Avraham's life, which he lived: one hundred years and seventy years and five years.

And Avraham expired and died in a good old age, old and full of days, and was gathered to his people.

And Yitsḥaq and Yishma'el his sons buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Efron son of Tsoḥar the Hittite, which is opposite Mamre.

The field which Avraham bought from the sons of Ḥet; there Avraham and Sarah his wife were buried.

And it was after the death of Avraham, and Elohim blessed Yitsḥaq his son, and Yitsḥaq lived by the well of Lahai Roi.

And these are the generations of Yishma'el, son of Avraham, whom Hagar the Mitsrite, Sarah's servant, bore to Avraham.

And these are the names of the sons of Yishma'el, by their names, according to their generations: the firstborn of Yishma'el, Nevayot, and Kedar, and Adbe'el, and Mivsam.

And Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa.

Ḥadad, and Tema, Yetur, Nafish, and Kedemah.

These are the sons of Yishma'el, and these are their names, by their villages and by their encampments: twelve princes of their peoples.

And these are the years of Yishma'el's life, one hundred years and thirty years and seven years. And he expired and died, and was gathered to his people.

And they lived from Ḥavila to Shur, which is opposite Mitsrayim, as you go toward Asshur; he fell before all his brothers.

And these are the generations of Yitsḥaq, son of Avraham. Avraham fathered Yitsḥaq.

And Yitsḥaq was forty years old when he took Rivka, daughter of Betu'el the Aramean from Padan-Aram, sister of Lavan the Aramean, as a wife for himself.

And Yitsḥaq pleaded with יהוה for his wife, because she was barren. And יהוה answered him, and Rivka his wife conceived.

And the children struggled within her. And she said, 'If it is so, why am I like this?' And she went to inquire of יהוה.

And יהוה said to her, 'Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples will be separated from your insides. And one people will be stronger than the other people, and the older will serve the younger.'

And her days were fulfilled to give birth, and behold, twins were in her womb.

And the first came out reddish, all like a hairy garment. And they called his name 'Esav.

And after that his brother came out, and his hand was holding the heel of 'Esav. And his name was called Ya'aqov. And Yitsḥaq was sixty years old when they were born.

And the boys grew. And 'Esav became a man, a skillful hunter, a man of the field. And Ya'aqov became a blameless man, dwelling in tents.

And Yitsḥaq loved 'Esav, because he hunted game for him. And Rivka loved Ya'aqov.

And Ya'aqov stewed a stew. And 'Esav came in from the field, and he was exhausted.

And 'Esav said to Ya'aqov, 'Let me swallow, please, some of this red, red stuff, because I am exhausted.' Therefore his name was called Edom.

And Ya'aqov said, 'Sell your birthright to me today.'

And 'Esav said, 'Behold, I am about to die, and why is this birthright of use to me?'

And Ya'aqov said, 'Swear to me today.' And he swore to him. And he sold his birthright to Ya'aqov.

And Ya'aqov gave 'Esav bread and a stew of lentils. And he ate and drank, and he got up and went away. And 'Esav despised the birthright.
