And you, son of man, take for yourself a sharp sword, a barber's razor you shall take for yourself, and you shall pass it over your head and over your beard, and you shall take scales and divide them.

A third you shall burn in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled. And you shall take a third, strike with the sword all around it, and a third you shall scatter to the wind, and a sword I will draw after them.

And you shall take from there a few by number, and bind them in the hem of your garment.

And from them you shall take again, and throw them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; from it fire shall go out to all the house of Yisra'el.

Thus says Adonai יהוה: This is Yerushalayim; I have set her in the midst of the nations, and lands are around her.

And she rebelled against my judgments for wickedness more than the nations, and against my statutes more than the lands that are around her, for they have rejected my judgments and my statutes they have not walked in them.

Therefore, thus says Adonai יהוה: Because you are more turbulent than the nations that are around you, you have not walked in my statutes, and you have not done my judgments, and you have not done according to the judgments of the nations that are around you.

Therefore, thus says Adonai יהוה: Behold, I am against you, even I, and I will execute judgments in your midst before the eyes of the nations.

And I will do in you what I have not done, and what I will not do like it again, because of all your abominations.

Therefore, fathers shall eat their sons in your midst, and sons shall eat their fathers, and I will execute judgments in you, and I will scatter all your remnant to every wind.

Therefore, as I live, declares Adonai יהוה, surely because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your detestable things and with all your abominations, I also will withdraw, and my eye will not spare, and I also will not pity.

A third of yours shall die by pestilence, and by famine they shall be consumed in your midst, and a third by the sword shall fall all around you, and a third I will scatter to every wind, and a sword I will draw after them.

And my anger shall be finished, and I will cause my wrath to rest on them, and I will be comforted, and they shall know that I, יהוה, have spoken in my zeal, when I have finished my wrath on them.

And I will make you a desolation and a reproach among the nations that are around you, before the eyes of all who pass by.

And you shall be a reproach and a taunt, a lesson and an astonishment to the nations that are around you, when I execute judgments on you in anger and in fury and in rebukes of fury; I, יהוה, have spoken.

When I send against them the deadly arrows of famine, which are for destruction, which I will send to destroy you, and famine I will gather against you, and I will break for you the staff of bread.

And I will send against you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave you, and pestilence and blood shall pass through you, and sword I will bring against you; I, יהוה, have spoken.
