And he led me to the gate, the gate facing the direction of the east.

And behold, the glory of the Elohim of Yisra'el was coming from the direction of the east, and his voice was like the voice of many waters, and the earth was illuminated by his glory.

And like the appearance of the appearance which I saw, like the appearance which I saw when I came to destroy the city, and appearances like the appearance which I saw by the river Kevar, and I fell on my face.

And the glory of יהוה was coming into the house by the way of the gate whose face was toward the east.

And the spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court, and behold, the house was filled with the glory of יהוה.

And I heard him speaking to me from the house, and a man was standing beside me.

And he said to me, 'Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Yisra'el forever, and the house of Yisra'el will no longer defile my holy name, they and their kings, by their prostitution and by the corpses of their kings in their high places.

By their setting their threshold by my threshold and their doorpost by my doorpost, and the wall between me and them, they defiled my holy name by their abominations which they committed, and I consumed them in my anger.

Now let them put away their prostitution and the corpses of their kings far from me, and I will dwell in their midst forever.

You, son of man, declare to the house of Yisra'el the house, and they will be ashamed of their iniquities, and they will measure the plan.

And if they are ashamed of all that they have done, the form of the house and its construction, its exits and its entrances, and all its forms, and all its statutes, and all its forms, and all its laws, make them known to them, and write it before their eyes, so that they may keep its entire form and all its statutes, and do them.

This is the law of the house: upon the top of the mountain, all its surrounding border is most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.

And these are the measurements of the altar in cubits: a cubit and a handbreadth, and the base of the altar is a cubit in width, and its border around it is one span, and this is the ledge of the altar.

And from the ground to the lower ledge are two cubits, and the width is one cubit, and from the small ledge to the large ledge are four cubits, and the width is one cubit.

And the hearth is four cubits, and from the hearth upwards are four horns.

And the hearth is twelve cubits long by twelve cubits wide, square on its four sides.

And the ledge is fourteen cubits long by fourteen cubits wide on its four sides, and its border around it is half a cubit, and its base is one cubit all around, and its steps face east.

And he said to me, 'Son of man, thus says Adonai יהוה: These are the statutes of the altar on the day it is made, to offer burnt offerings on it and to sprinkle blood on it.

And you will give to the Levitical priests who are from the offspring of Tsadoq, who come near to me, declares Adonai יהוה, to serve me, a bull calf for a sin offering.

And you will take some of its blood and put it on the four horns of it and on the four corners of the ledge and on the border all around, and you will purify it and make atonement for it.

And you will take the sin offering bull, and burn it in the appointed place of the house, outside the sanctuary.

And on the second day you will offer a male goat, without blemish, for a sin offering, and they will purify the altar as it was purified with the bull.

When you finish purifying, you will offer a bull calf, without blemish, and a ram from the flock, without blemish.

And you will present them before יהוה, and the priests will throw salt on them and offer them up as a burnt offering to יהוה.

For seven days you will make a sin offering goat each day, and a bull calf and a ram from the flock, without blemish, they will make.

For seven days they will make atonement for the altar and purify it and consecrate it.

And when the days are completed, it will be on the eighth day and onward that the priests will offer your burnt offerings and your peace offerings on the altar, and I will accept you, declares Adonai יהוה.
