And the spirit lifted me up and brought me to the eastern gate of the house of יהוה, and behold, at the entrance of the gate twenty-five men, and I saw among them Ya'azanyah son of 'Azzur, and Pelatyahu son of Benayahu, leaders of the people.

And he said to me, 'Son of man, these are the men who are thinking evil and advising a bad plan in this city.'

'They are saying, 'It is not near; the house is the pot and we are the meat.'

Therefore, prophesy against them; prophesy, son of man.'

And the spirit of יהוה fell upon me, and he said to me, 'Speak, thus says יהוה: This is what you have said, house of Yisra'el, and the thoughts of your spirit, I know them.'

'You have multiplied your slain in this city, and you have filled its streets with the slain.'

Therefore, thus says Adonai יהוה: Your slain whom you have placed in its midst, they are the meat and it is the pot, and I will bring you out from its midst.'

'You feared the sword, and I will bring a sword upon you, says Adonai יהוה.'

'And I will bring you out from its midst, and I will give you into the hand of strangers, and I will execute judgments upon you.'

'By the sword you will fall; at the border of Yisra'el I will judge you, and you will know that I am יהוה.'

'It will not be a pot for you, and you will not be meat in its midst; at the border of Yisra'el I will judge you.'

'And you will know that I am יהוה, because you have not walked in my statutes, and you have not done my judgments, but you have done according to the judgments of the nations that are around you.'

'And it happened as I prophesied, that Pelatyahu son of Benayahu died, and I fell on my face, and I cried out with a loud voice and said, 'Alas, Adonai יהוה! Are you making an end of the remnant of Yisra'el?'

And the word of יהוה came to me, saying:

'Son of man, your brothers, your brothers, the men of your redemption, and the whole house of Yisra'el, all of them, to whom the inhabitants of Yerushalayim have said, 'Go far from יהוה; this land is given to us for an inheritance.'

Therefore, say, 'Thus says Adonai יהוה: Because I have sent them far away among the nations, and because I have scattered them among the lands, I will be to them a little sanctuary in the lands where they have come.'

Therefore, say, 'Thus says Adonai יהוה: I will gather you from the peoples, and I will assemble you from the lands where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Yisra'el.'

'And they will come there and remove from it all its detestable things and all its abominations.'

'And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you, and I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh, and I will give them a heart of flesh.'

'So that they may walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them, and they will be to me for a people, and I will be to them for Elohim.'

'But as for those whose hearts go after their detestable things and their abominations, their way I will put on their heads, says Adonai יהוה.'

And the cherubim lifted up their wings, and the wheels beside them, and the glory of the Elohim of Yisra'el was upon them from above.

And the glory of יהוה went up from the midst of the city and stood upon the mountain that is east of the city.

And a spirit lifted me up and brought me to the exiles in the vision by the spirit of Elohim, and the vision that I saw was lifted up from me.

And I spoke to the exiles all the words of יהוה that he had shown me.
