And I saw, and behold, upon the expanse that was over the head of the cherubim, like a stone of sapphire, like the appearance of the likeness of a throne, it appeared over them.

And he spoke to the man clothed in linen, saying, 'Come in between the wheels, to under the cherub, and fill your palms with coals of fire from between the cherubim, and throw them upon the city.' And he came before my eyes.

And the cherubim were standing, to the right of the house, when the man came in, and the cloud filled the inner court.

And the glory of יהוה lifted from over the cherub, to the threshold of the house, and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was filled with the radiance of the glory of יהוה.

And the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard, to the outer court, like the sound of El Shaddai when he speaks.

And it happened, when he commanded the man clothed in linen, saying, 'Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubim.' And he came and stood beside the wheel.

And the cherub stretched out his hand from between the cherubim to the fire that was between the cherubim, and he took and gave it into the palms of the one clothed in linen. And he took and went out.

And there appeared to the cherubim the form of a human hand under their wings.

And I saw, and behold, four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside each cherub, and one wheel beside each cherub. And the appearance of the wheels was like the color of the stone Tarshish.

And their appearance was the same for all four, like the appearance of a wheel within a wheel.

When they went, they went in their four directions; they did not turn when they went. For the place the head faced, they followed after it; they did not turn when they went.

And their whole bodies, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes all around, all four of them, their wheels.

To the wheels, they were called 'the wheel' in my hearing.

And each one had four faces: the face of the first was the face of a cherub, and the face of the second was the face of a human, and the face of the third was the face of a lion, and the face of the fourth was the face of an eagle.

And the cherubim lifted up; this is the living creature that I saw by the river Kebar.

And when the cherubim went, the wheels went beside them, and when the cherubim lifted their wings to rise from the earth, the wheels did not turn from beside them either.

When they stood, they stood; and when they lifted up, they lifted them up, for the spirit of the living creature was in them.

And the glory of יהוה went out from over the threshold of the house and stood over the cherubim.

And the cherubim lifted their wings and rose from the earth before my eyes as they went out, and the wheels beside them. And the entrance of the gate of the eastern house of יהוה was standing, and the glory of Elohei-Yisra'el was over them from above.

This is the living creature that I saw under Elohei-Yisra'el by the river Kebar, and I knew that they were cherubim.

Each one had four faces, and each one had four wings, and the likeness of human hands was under their wings.

And the likeness of their faces, these are the faces that I saw by the river Kebar; their appearance, and they, each man went in the direction of his face.
