Mosheh answered and said, 'But they will not believe me, and they will not listen to my voice, because they will say, 'יהוה has not appeared to you.''

And יהוה said to him, 'What is this in your hand?' And he said, 'A staff.'

And he said, 'Throw it to the ground.' And he threw it to the ground, and it became a serpent, and Mosheh fled from its face.

And יהוה said to Mosheh, 'Stretch out your hand and grasp its tail.' And he stretched out his hand and grasped it, and it became a staff in his palm.

'So that they may believe that יהוה, the Elohim of their fathers, the Elohim of Avraham, the Elohim of Yitsḥaq, and the Elohim of Ya'aqov, has appeared to you.'

And יהוה said to him, 'Now, put your hand into your bosom.' And he put his hand into his bosom, and he took it out, and behold, his hand was leprous, like snow.

And he said, 'Return your hand to your bosom.' And he returned his hand to his bosom, and he took it out of his bosom, and behold, it was restored like his flesh.

'And it will be, if they will not believe you, and they will not listen to the voice of the first sign, then they will believe the voice of the last sign.'

'And it will be, if they will not believe even these two signs, and they will not listen to your voice, then you will take from the waters of the river and pour them on the dry land. And the waters which you take from the river will become blood on the dry land.'

And Mosheh said to יהוה, 'Oh, my Adonai, I am not a man of words, neither from yesterday nor from the day before, nor since you have spoken to your servant, because I am heavy of mouth and heavy of tongue.'

And יהוה said to him, 'Who appointed a mouth for man? Or who makes a mute, or a deaf, or a seeing, or a blind? Is it not I, יהוה?'

'And now, go, and I will be with your mouth, and I will teach you what you shall speak.'

And he said, 'Oh, my Adonai, please send by the hand of whom you will send.'

And the anger of יהוה burned against Mosheh, and he said, 'Is not Aharon your brother the Levite? I know that he will surely speak, and also, behold, he is coming out to meet you, and when he sees you, he will rejoice in his heart.'

'And you shall speak to him, and you shall put the words in his mouth, and I will be with your mouth and with his mouth, and I will teach you what you shall do.'

'And he shall speak for you to the people, and he will be for you as a mouth, and you will be for him as Elohim.'

'And this staff you shall take in your hand, with which you shall do the signs.'

And Mosheh went and returned to Yitro his father-in-law, and said to him, 'Please let me go and return to my brothers who are in Mitsrayim, and let me see if they are still alive.' And Yitro said to Mosheh, 'Go in peace.'

And יהוה said to Mosheh in Midyan, 'Go, return to Mitsrayim, because all the men who were seeking your life have died.'

And Mosheh took his wife and his sons, and he mounted them on the donkey, and he returned to the land of Mitsrayim. And Mosheh took the staff of Elohim in his hand.

And יהוה said to Mosheh, 'When you go to return to Mitsrayim, see all the wonders that I have put in your hand, and you shall do them before Par'oh. But I will harden his heart, and he will not let the people go.'

'And you shall say to Par'oh, 'Thus says יהוה, 'My firstborn son is Yisra'el.''

'And I said to you, 'Let my son go that he may serve me.' And you refused to let him go. Behold, I will kill your firstborn son.''

And it happened on the way, at the lodging place, that יהוה met him and sought to kill him.

And Tsiporrah took a stone and cut off the foreskin of her son, and she touched his feet, and she said, 'Truly, you are a bridegroom of blood to me.'

And he let go of him. Then she said, 'A bridegroom of blood because of the circumcision.'

And יהוה said to Aharon, 'Go to meet Mosheh in the wilderness.' And he went and met him at the mountain of Elohim, and he kissed him.

And Mosheh told Aharon all the words of יהוה with which he had sent him, and all the signs with which he had commanded him.

And Mosheh and Aharon went and gathered all the elders of the children of Yisra'el.

And Aharon spoke all the words that יהוה had spoken to Mosheh, and he did the signs before the eyes of the people.

And the people believed, and they heard that יהוה had visited the children of Yisra'el, and that he had seen their affliction, and they bowed down and prostrated themselves.
