If in a tunnel the thief is found, and he is struck and dies, there is no bloodguilt for him.

If the sun has risen upon him, there is bloodguilt for him; he must pay restitution. If he has nothing, he will be sold for his theft.

If the stolen item is found alive in his hand, from an ox to a donkey to a sheep, he must pay double.

If a man causes a field or vineyard to be grazed, and lets his animal graze in another man's field, he must pay restitution from the best of his field and the best of his vineyard.

If fire goes out and catches thorns, and a stack of grain or the standing grain or the field is consumed, he who kindled the fire must pay restitution.

If a man gives to his neighbor silver or utensils to guard, and it is stolen from the man's house, if the thief is found, he must pay double.

If the thief is not found, the owner of the house must approach the Elohim, whether he has put his hand on the work of his neighbor.

For every matter of transgression, concerning an ox, concerning a donkey, concerning a sheep, concerning a garment, concerning any lost item, which one says 'This is it,' the matter of both of them shall come to the Elohim; whom the Elohim condemns, he must pay double to his neighbor.

If a man gives to his neighbor a donkey, or an ox, or a sheep, or any animal to guard, and it dies, or is broken, or is driven away, with no witness,

The oath of יהוה shall be between the two of them, whether he has put his hand on the work of his neighbor, and its owner accepts it, and he will not pay.

But if it is stolen from him, he must pay restitution to its owner.

If it is torn by a wild animal, he must bring it as evidence of the torn animal; he will not pay.

And if a man borrows from his neighbor, and it is broken or dies, its owner not being with it, he must pay restitution.

If its owner is with it, he will not pay; if it is a hired animal, it comes with its hire.

And if a man seduces a virgin who is not betrothed, and lies with her, he must pay the bride-price and she shall be to him for a wife.

If her father absolutely refuses to give her to him, he must weigh out silver according to the bride-price of virgins.

A sorceress you shall not allow to live.

Everyone who lies with an animal shall surely be put to death.

Whoever sacrifices to elohim shall be destroyed, except to יהוה alone.

You shall not oppress a sojourner, nor shall you afflict him, for you were sojourners in the land of Mitsrayim.

You shall not afflict any widow or orphan.

If you afflict them at all, and they cry out to me, I will surely hear their cry.

And my anger will burn, and I will kill you with the sword, and your wives will become widows, and your sons will become orphans.

If you lend money to my people, to the poor among you, you shall not be to him as a creditor; you shall not charge him interest.

If you take your neighbor's garment as a pledge, before the sun sets you shall return it to him.

For it is his only covering, it is his garment for his skin; in what will he lie down? And it will be, if he cries out to me, and I will hear, for I am compassionate.

You shall not curse Elohim, nor curse a ruler among your people.

Your abundance and your tears you shall not delay; the firstborn of your sons you shall give to me.

You shall do the same for your ox, for your sheep; seven days it shall be with its mother; on the eighth day you shall give it to me.

And you shall be men of holiness to me, and flesh torn by a wild animal in the field you shall not eat; you shall throw it to the dogs.
