All the commandment which I command you today you shall keep to do, so that you may live and multiply and go in and possess the land which יהוה swore to your fathers.

And you shall remember all the way which יהוה your Elohim has led you these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you, to test you, to know what is in your heart, whether you will keep His commandments or not.

And He humbled you and made you hungry and fed you the manna, which you did not know, and your fathers did not know, so that He might make known to you that not by bread alone does man live, but by every word that comes from the mouth of יהוה does man live.

Your clothing did not wear out from upon you, and your foot did not swell these forty years.

And you shall know in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so יהוה your Elohim disciplines you.

And you shall keep the commandments of יהוה your Elohim, to walk in His ways and to fear Him.

For יהוה your Elohim is bringing you into a good land, a land of streams of water, of springs and deep waters that come forth in the valley and in the hill country.

A land of wheat and barley, and vine and fig and pomegranate, a land of olive oil and honey.

A land in which you will not eat bread in poverty, you will not lack anything in it, a land whose stones are iron, and from whose mountains you will mine copper.

And you shall eat and be satisfied, and you shall bless יהוה your Elohim for the good land which He has given you.

Be careful for yourself, lest you forget יהוה your Elohim by not keeping His commandments and His judgments and His statutes which I command you today.

Lest you eat and be satisfied, and build good houses and dwell.

And your cattle and your sheep multiply, and silver and gold multiply for you, and all that you have multiplies.

And your heart be lifted up, and you forget יהוה your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, from the house of slaves.

Who led you through the great and awesome wilderness, a land of fiery serpents and scorpions and thirst, where there was no water, who brought forth water for you from the rock of flint.

Who fed you manna in the wilderness, which your fathers did not know, to humble you and to test you, to do you good in your latter days.

And you say in your heart, 'My power and the strength of my hand has made for me this wealth.'

And you shall remember יהוה your Elohim, for it is He who gives you power to make wealth, so that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

And it shall be, if you forget יהוה your Elohim and go after other elohim and serve them and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely perish.

Like the nations which יהוה destroys from before you, so you will perish, because you did not listen to the voice of יהוה your Elohim.
