For יהוה your Elohim will bring you into the land which you are going to possess, and He will drive out many nations from before you, the Hittites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations more numerous and stronger than you.

And יהוה your Elohim will deliver them to you, and you will strike them; you shall utterly destroy them; you shall not make a covenant with them, nor show them favor.

And you shall not intermarry with them; your daughter you shall not give to his son, and his daughter you shall not take for your son.

For they will turn your son away from following Me, and they will serve other elohim, and the anger of יהוה will burn against you, and He will quickly destroy you.

But thus you shall do to them: their altars you shall tear down, and their pillars you shall shatter, and their Asherah poles you shall cut down, and their graven images you shall burn with fire.

For you are a holy people to יהוה your Elohim; יהוה your Elohim has chosen you to be His treasured people from all the peoples that are on the face of the earth.

יהוה did not set His desire on you nor choose you because you were more numerous than any people, for you were the fewest of all peoples.

But because of יהוה's love for you, and because He kept the oath which He swore to your fathers, יהוה brought you out with a strong hand and redeemed you from the house of slaves, from the hand of Pharaoh, king of Mitsrayim.

And you shall know that יהוה your Elohim, He is the Elohim, the faithful El, who keeps covenant and steadfast love for those who love Him and keep His commandments, for a thousand generations.

And He repays those who hate Him to their face, to destroy them; He will not delay to His enemy, to His face He will repay him.

And you shall keep the commandment and the statutes and the judgments which I am commanding you today to do them.

And it shall be, because you listen to these judgments and keep and do them, that יהוה your Elohim will keep for you the covenant and the steadfast love which He swore to your fathers.

And He will love you and bless you and multiply you; and He will bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the young of your flock, on the land which He swore to your fathers to give you.

You shall be blessed above all peoples; there shall be no male or female barren among you or among your livestock.

And יהוה will remove from you all sickness, and He will not put on you any of the evil diseases of Mitsrayim which you know, but He will lay them on all who hate you.

And you shall consume all the peoples whom יהוה your Elohim gives to you; your eye shall not pity them, and you shall not serve their elohim, for it is a snare to you.

If you say in your heart, 'These nations are more numerous than I; how can I dispossess them?'

You shall not fear them; you shall surely remember what יהוה your Elohim did to Pharaoh and to all Mitsrayim.

The great trials which your eyes saw, and the signs and the wonders and the strong hand and the outstretched arm by which יהוה your Elohim brought you out; so יהוה your Elohim will do to all the peoples whom you fear.

Moreover, יהוה your Elohim will send the hornet against them until those who remain and hide from you perish.

You shall not be terrified of them, for יהוה your Elohim is in your midst, a great and awesome El.

And יהוה your Elohim will drive out these nations before you little by little; you cannot consume them quickly, lest the wild beasts multiply against you.

And יהוה your Elohim will give them over to you, and will throw them into great confusion until they are destroyed.

And He will give their kings into your hand, and you shall destroy their name from under the heavens; no one shall stand before you until you have destroyed them.

You shall burn their graven images with fire; you shall not covet the silver and gold on them, nor take it for yourself, lest you be ensnared by it, for it is an abomination to יהוה your Elohim.

And you shall not bring an abomination into your house, and you shall be devoted to destruction like it; you shall utterly detest it and utterly abhor it, for it is devoted to destruction.
